true Boom - and they certainly dont invest a cool one million quid, unless they see a strong financial upside reason too. this buy by the Lord is all I needed to wait for the insanity of the short term stock market to pass, and sit on my hands
shorts/ algos/ trolls can waste their time as they like, but actions (Lord Allen buy) speaks louder than words (and often false words)

spot on licker - strong business/ in good broadly recession proof sectors/ achieving strong growth and well resourced (due to brilliant capital raises at IPO and also Softbank raise)
But IR and comms to shareholders are some of the worst I have ever seen - this can be remedied by getting new PR agency and sacking all in he current IR team

THG historically do updates on Thursdays - I would not be at all surprised to see a RNS tomorrow with an update on separation and maybe top line trading update

I wanted to share my reasons for investment into THG and why I feel SP is due a big re rate

- Citibank 220p price + beauty same value as current market share
- Beauty brands holding up in tough trading times (W7L/ PZ Cuzzons etc) - this sector is highly recession proof)
- Separation could allow investment into new thg beauty
- Chairman bought £1m shares at 86p/ No director sells and all big II holders either increased or maintained high holdings
- PE are interested: 2 fully funded bids despite PE money raise conditions becoming tough (ref boots)
- Whey prices are falling: headwind as thg seem to have managed CPI well
- Weaker pound: Circa 20% of business comes from USA so forex creates positive head wind (pound down -10% since start of year)
- Ingenuity is valued at zero, so anything positive from SoftBank option will rerate share + new Ingenuity client wins should help create value
- Covid restrictions being reduced in Asia and China will help lessen final mile delivery costs
- Global Covid restrictions reduction means more mobility - benefits thg with more conventions happening which is good for nutrition where trade shows help penetration, and also their hotel and spa business
- Myprotein listings across all major UK grocers. Can be easily replicated across all main geos
- End of war would be a massive uptick

Peoples constructive thoughts/ builds / challenges would be most welcome (plus any points I have missed)

A new chairman, whose remit was to improvement governance (he has already removed two board members) and review the future strategy, has, at his disreshion bought 1£m worth of shares in THG- this is MASSIVE.

Who know more about the future potential / plans of THG that this guy? And he has bet big?
Who cares how the schizophrenic market reacted yesterday. Follow the insider money. And remember neither Moulding nor McDonald nor Murphy have sold any shares , even when it hit 800p

And THG received 2 fully funded TO bids when boots failed to attract more than 1

Follow the money, esp the insider money, remember the stock market is openly manipulating this share and have patience, and THG has all the hallmarks to unlock you wealth

Me too- Market is done across the board today explaining our decline but £1m investment in a company by a chair is a massive statement and one you will not see often. He has full visibility on latest trading and S1 so far- go with the Money….

The desperation today of the manipulation trully shows this caught the shorts by total surprise
Narrative has changed now - director share bits are only a positive (trolls that say different can do one). No concerns anymore. Will wait for long term value to come

The drop in SP doesn’t bother me at all anymore. It’s not at all related to anything other than layering/ manipulation/ shorting.
The chair of a company spending £1m of their own money on shares in the company is a huge positive. The fact moulding never sold a share even when it hit 800p is also massive.
Company is fine. Value will come out. Load up and wait. And F you shorts

i do too - the board rejected an offer that is X2 the SP today becuase it under valued the company
yet there is no update on:
1/ softbank
2/ separation
3/ beauty spin off
4/ how they will unlock value

yeah W7l reported strong results, and they are not a great company/ no real MOAT.
THG is simply under constant short/ algo/ layering attacks - my advise is load up whilst so cheap and then switch off and wait for news.
this constant manipulation of share price is now beyond boring and not even really worth talking about anymore

Interesting - so reading between the lines, it seems the line to Softbank may have gone a little cold, and THG are simply waiting for SB to confirm a yes or no....as they say silence speaks volumes, so maybe a little less likely than likely (even at a discounted rate)...but lets see
