They have a trading platform.

But they have increased their holding, after reducing it on 20/10 (see RNS on that day). Now at 4.45% holding - They were at 3.12% - So looks like they have an increased appetite with their clients for CMET...as it seems do other investors recently! - Hopefully good news on the way!

Hopefully 2023 is the last change to buy under 4p. There's just over half an hour left of trading today (2023), as the stock exchange closes at 12:30 today.

Quoted from 7/12 RNS:

"However, the Company confirms it is in advanced discussions with regards to a potential equity fundraising, and expects to provide an update to the market shortly. The Board continues to manage cash on a prudent basis as it seeks to add significant value for shareholders."

Or by January 2024 Steve said...probably then given how slow they are this year. Plus they said in the last RNS, they are in an 'advanced stage of a fund raise'...so imminent I'd say!

I'm optimistic for later 2024/early 2025...but the deal will not be signed off by the regulators until the end of March 2024. Probably last minute or an extended deadline, like every other deadline this year. Disappointing for current shareholders this year.

The bad news, lots of small sells (- £5k). Good news, a few bigger buys (+£15k) and no big sells. Hopefully a better finish than we expect today, or a positive buying day tomorrow.

Delayed buys

Just read the last fund raise RNS. The price was based on the day before the fund raise, so if they are looking to raise funds this week, the share price seems very low at a 26p high. I got in at 4.5p, so i'm just being greedy. I'm definitely holding 80% of what I bought long term. It's a transparent and honest operation, (maybe too transparent sometimes...like today with positive news and a kicker of negative lol).

I think the fund raise goes on the share price over last 30 days. The Directors would be mad to not wait for a decent rise before doing it; so the average is higher. Maybe that's why the share price jumped higher before the last one.

The share price increased for the following 3 days when news broke on the 18th September, then dropped on the fund raise. If anyone is selling a few shares for profit, I think there's a few more days for growth, sell some, then re-buy after the fund raise.

Orcadian and Ping are also negotiating a Joint Bidding Agreement ("JBA") in respect of, and requested an out-of-round application for, the area of former Licence P2320 (which Orcadian had to relinquish earlier this year), in support of the Pilot development and the area plan.

There's a few detractors voicing now! But bigger fish bitting now at 26p! Longterm holders know the value here; this year, early next year, first oil, Elke and Narwhal fields and then first oil! A great time for ORCA holders!

Interesting to see what the share price is after the bigger fish take notice. So far very small buys/sells.

Agree! The next RNS will be about 'Orcadian shareholder approval'...not that anyone in their right-mind will vote against the deal.
