The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
"No need to drill a well there" ... this colonial would like to know why 'we' are looking for targets to drill later when we could be pumping sooner, thanks.
Perhaps it was the interviewer or other things going on, but I found GH very frustrated, like he wasn't really comfortable with the position he was expressing - not his usual happy optimistic self. Maybe now that we are down to the crunch Total and Tullow are perhaps making their weight felt in Toronto. I don't get the feeling that GH preferred Jethro-Lobe over Latuk.
If we could get a deal like the one Total got from Eco I'd put up with a dilution to pick up some of that 60% regardless of the direction of share prices post dilution. Increasing the stake on a sure hand ...
Jimo, if you're looking for shares on the cheap you'll have to do a whole lot better than that chum, try dilution. ; )
Here&now, Older&wiswer... would be swell to meet up.
Level 2 pre-market this morning ... only 15k shares on the bid side from .69 to .75 - and more than half of those are mine! If it drops below 40p I'll be back in 100%.
O&w, currently a balmy -1C. Had a sister living there once, it was was nice enough back in the 70s, too many people now. TO had it's 89th murder today, one more and they have a new 'record'.
Spent a bit of time growing up in Langar, England - base brat - in the mid 50s, know it? When EOG hits I'll be back not having been over since the early 70s!
O&w ... "stupid", so would selling out at this time, point made I hope.
Lots of shares on the TSX for sale, but not much interest at all. Only 3 bidders (from .83 to .78) for a whopping 6500 shares - how's that for stupid.
Unless things have changed, most Canadian Institutions require a $5 sp before investing.
EOG's case for delution has already been stated, my personal interest is picking up more shares below 40p which would be more likely if a dilution were to happen sooner than later, and would of course depend on a market recoil on such news.
Regardless, "lets feed the elephants" and leave the lights on wallact ; ).
" I don't care if we get diluted at that price to drill more appraisal wells or develop the field into production." My sentiments exactly. Dilution I wouldn't have entertained over the years, now I feel we don't have enough ammo for all the elephants out there if we are to have any measure of independence. This stock will explode at some point, a dilution now would be short lived - I for one would be quick to add to my position.
Short of a dilution perhaps a split of resources might be easier to swallow. Yep, right down the middle of the Atlantic. I'll let the chaps who have a corporate background kick this one around. Eco-East/Eco West, or a new company all together. I'd be glad to invest in a pure Namibian play using my Guyana profits.
Maybe I'm finally realizing/accepting that we are just too small a player to exist any longer - I'd do anything to stay alive.
Will the take-out happen before or after dillution?
This a cut and paste, don't know what it'll look like posted but it is a sell order, so I must have been in before Mar 14 NOTE the share price!

The oldest bank transaction I recently came across was a 'sell' order sometime in the fall of 2012.
Lovely summation h&n!
Quite right, balance being the key. Now, having agreed to that why does knowing of h&n's adding make me a bit queasy ; )
ATB
In the past I bought large chunks of this stock only to have watched it fall to 8 cents. Pennies are fine to fall behind on, but those quarters/dead money are a real drag. I'll most likely make millions on EOG, I certainly won't get hurt. How many posters here are leveraged beyond what they can afford to lose ... don't mean to sound like a wet blanket, but this is still a gamble no matter the odds.
I'll wait for tax loss time and see how it goes at that time.
O&w, I'm still in with house money but don't see anything new at this point to change my plans on getting back in with my profit.
I'm currently adding to my African Energy Corp holdings that have prospects in Namibia, but its their South Africa - another Total show, spud next month that has my attention,
Agree on your TSX-Venture comment, I've often challenged posts referring to Venture pops. My hope in posting level 2 was to caution posters who were thinking of buying at 45p, as this could be lower tomorrow. I'll follow 'hereandnow' and get back in below 40p.

"I would be v happy for ECO to drop $2.5million on a Cooper well. So much time, money and energy has gotten us to this point, they need to follow through."
Absolutely! Cooper has been my hunch all along. Let's keep looking for the Big One and not be distracted with things like shareholder value.
