don't get me wrong, I would be dead chuffed if we keep ROW which now appears to be debt free. Together with the UK + some debt wouldn't be bad either, we'll just build from there. However, it could also turn out that ROW is thrown into some deal and we'll be left with nothing.

I thought huge losses mainly come from loan repayments and interest and the result of it is Ch11. If we're considering a cash buyer who clears the existing debt, surely the company won't have a loss of $700m before tax.

Would be interesting to know what are the main problems on the way of finalising the FDP. Maybe Kenyan authorities don't deserve all the blame they get about the delays... Obviously, tullow's project can only get the green light when both sides are happy with FDP.

agree on HBR. The PIs holding PMO got pushed under the bus (HBR is trading ~ 16p old money) so it seems cheap but the new reality of windfall tax doesn't help the SP. My bet is on TLW even if things are slow... at some point we'll get to 90p+

Tony, how can they know what goes on behind closed doors in Peru, honestly? Hochschild cannot be too persistent chasing peruvian politicians because then there's a high chance we won't see any extension. They've followed the official procedure so now have to wait. Political situation doesn't look good so I wouldn't bet on permit extensions in Q1.
