Following on from the "significantly oversubscribed" RNS I just tried to participate in the Retail offer but my broker is not involved - very disappointing. I can buy in the open market at 10.78 though so I might do the same as you!

Miavoce - really? Why top up at 10.7p when you can participate in the retail offer at 10.5p? From Scancells point of view it is much better for you to buy in the retail offer so that the money goes straight to them.

I had it in my mind that the 13 week period from 1st dose to scan ended in August for a number of patients. Not sure if that is correct or not - anyone any thoughts on when trial data is likely?

Broadly speaking yes - as I understand it a 3% hold triggers a holding RNS so with circa 945m shares in total (I think) thats about 28.3m

Just tried a couple of dummy transactions. I can buy 10000 shares at 16.81p and sell 10000 shares at 16.77p. Can someone with better MM knowledge than me suggest a reason for the very small spread?

So 18/19 transactions required to build a 1% stake.

I agree its not insignificant but the transactions don't look like the purchaser (if indeed they are all the same) is trying to build a controlling stake.

Playing devils advocate for a minute, if the 500k purchases finish and there is no data published for a while, could this possibly be detrimental to the SP?

FWIW I think this will fly in due course and by xmas we will be looking at a good rise. I can't help but think that in the short term however, we'll see a few (small) dips which will represent a good buying/top-up opportunity. All imho of course. GL all.
