Lombard are working hard to scare the punters here by selling tiny number of shares to increase the NUMBER of shares sold aganst the bought.Trying to make a "sea of red" on the boards.A very old trick from yester years. They are getting desperate.Note the timing of their trades, how close they are.Always a good sign of machinations.Stach

Are you back here and the same Harley that I used to know?If so it is nice to see you posting again. When HNVs invested recently I thought that it could have been you! The patience of years of research by those, who actually do it is remarkable but so is that of genuine investors, who also wish to advance the treatments for the sick and in the process to make money too. This is a very small but an excellent group of Researchers within SAR.i still stick with them.ATB-Stach
I just added 25k at 5.1p/share.The mms are making "the market" for this share as otherwise it would have stagnated and drifted slowly down till next news. This is a good share and has made money for a lot of people investing here for many years.MMs know this and are making money from trades too.A stagnant share price is no good for anyone unless it pays the dividends. There is no bad news for SAR and a lot of possibly transformertional developments within next few months.People are buying at these prices in full knowledge that HNV investors have just bought millions of shares paying more than us today, very much more.Stach
Applications from China for tests Approval are sent in "brown envelopes".Other than that there is no other reason as we never hear about what is so good about Chinese Tests that they are always chosen in preference to British ones.Stach
Good Morning xviolet
I think that something is afoot with SAR right now.The take over in its totality of SAR would certainly make sense to Dr Mitchel, who is by now well into his retirement age.The Personnel of the Company is tiny and would be also very well rewarded by such a move. The pipeline of Compounds supported each by the Patent is also remarkable and the need of paying to bigger Companies with large labs and experimental facilities for conducting our own programs is getting more and more expensive and taking longer as it has been shown during this pandemic.I feel that Astra-Zeneca could be the one to gobble us up as they do like British ground for developing drugs. Also AZ has made a great deal of money with their covid-19 vaccine here and will be looking for an investment of that money right now.As to the trading volumes, you mention,it is a drop in the ocean as we have so many shares in issue. This may be the reason for a consolidation before any T/O and the appointing of a new Broker. Now you are talking rubbish. The UK 18th Adult Acute Myeloblastic Leukaemia Clinical Trial(AURORA+FLT-3).Stretch yourself a bit and contact UK Clinical Trials Office and ask what happened to this ARM of The Trial.Stach

I have been with SAR shares for almost two decades and have made some decent profits over the time.Dr Mitchel knew and engaged top doctors and scientists into his Research, which always become very promising and Aurora+FLT-3 have been trialled in the UK AML Trial for almost three years and my patients participated in it too.Unfortunately FLT-3 solubility problem has stopped this Clinical Trial.Had that been sorted out the Clinicians around the World would have been using it now for their patients.CHK-1 Inhibitor was developed with the aid of top Doctors and partly financed by CRUK.At the time that was again a top topic at Seminars throughout the World. However when it came to actually commercialize it (and discussions with interested Parties went on forever),we have blown it and got involved with China. Most of you now know what happened since. The point I am making that we were a bit unlucky in choosing Marketing personnel for SAR and have not stuck up with Western Companies in our negotiations. Now we have three or even four pre-clinical Compounds to sell and need to attract right Pharmas to either sell them in the present state of development or jointly propagate them to the Clinical Trials.Four or five million pounds is not enough these days to even complete Phase-1.The small Gov. Grant of £175k was hardly enough to pay the salaries of Staff for a few months. This is why Peel Hunt Brokers are coming to us to help the situation.ATB-Stach

Very wise observation. What lots of people here do not like to understand that the bigger Firms taking over the others must explain to their shareholders why they are doing it and what are the risks. It does not look right having to deal with billions of shares and then consolidate these themselves. In cases of AIM a huge number of shares usually indicates protracted, troubled past.Stach
Today's RNS is certainly intriguing .To me it highlights two possibilities: one of consolidation and placing in order to progress into the Clinical Trial on our own { PH is known to do this well) a second possibility is indeed a takeover after a consolidation. Now we know from the last RNS that the pill formulation will take time to make it enough of them and then be tested in 2022 and therefore further expenditure will be needed and with the current billions of shares in issue it does put off some investors to step in and support us,especially for Institutional Investors.I have added some shares today as either way seems to me is a good one.Stach

Hello there.I think that here are possibly a very few people, who do understand how toxicology studies are conducted. From the Petri dish and slides under the microscope analysis and if results are good(in vitro studies) the animals are dosed with the substance/compound by injecting it or orally ,topically or rectally .Major pharmaceutical laboratories have resources to do all of the above at the same time on the same species ,which in turn are divided into those subgroups. This saves time and the study is finished quicker. However smaller labs may not have the resources or manpower to do it that way and start in vivo studies with the injections. This guarantees that various doses are delivered to all animals exactly. If there is a good response/results obtained and toxic effects are absent, minimal or acceptable, other routs of delivery are tested subsequently. For iv/im stuff, solubility is paramount. If toxic effects are unacceptable in the lab animals, you can not apply for a clinical trial. This is why I said we need to know why toxicology studies are taking so long. Why not tell us for instance that toxic effects of injections(whilst compound was very effective) forced SAR to test other forms of drug delivery. Most reasonable shareholders would understand that. This now will take some additional time and the expense.Maybe two rich individuals were informed about it and invested here.ATB - Stach

I am sure people will ask about it but we need an honest answer.Had it not been for those two wealthy Investors,we could be in a spot of bother right now.The whole late process of developing this acute response inhibitor is taking ages.Stach

Good morning.I do not like this RNS as see contrarian statements within it,which undermine the whole. What is the point to start capsule formulation whilst Toxicology Experiments with the liquid substance are not finished? in fact if anti-TYK-2/JAK-1 compound was going to be used in seriously ill patients with Covid-19,it would have had to be given indeed in liquid form and most likely IV.Are we now talking that we shall be submitting ACT for only different autoimmune diseases to Covid so oral route is a must?We have had similar situation with FLT-3 solubility problems(many of you here I am sure remember this). There must have been some problems with the compound as it takes ages to complete Toxicology study.A bit of truth about it would not go amiss.Stach

Hi and thanks for the posting that interesting info. So,we may have to wait till 26th of November? Well it would look very bad
for SAR if they do not come up with an up to date statement were they are with the toxicology outcomes and CTA before that date.SAR has raised enough money just recently to complete the study.ATB.Stach

This so called "update" is not giving us anything above that we have had discussed repeatedly on this BB.What we need to know whether Toxicology Studies have been finished as without this being OK,we can not submit an application for Phase 1 Trial. It seems to me that it is taking an unusually long time to complete it.I know that SAR relies on other Labs to do it but the question should be asked why it is taking so long?We can not even sell the Produc twithout is being SAFE.Stach

I almost choked with laughter whilst eating apple and yet it is so true what you said and should be displayed on the front wall of every Polling Station during General Election in UK.Conservative Comrades are learning from their Chinese brothers how to fleece everybody even after death. What's more, all three parties here are competing how to out do the others how to achieve "the equality within the populace".I certainly keep my shares in an ISA. After so many years with SAR(coming up to 20) I believe we shall be suitably rewarded at last.ATB - Stach
REGULATOR UK post:10:53
I am retired now but for you,who as you state, are dealing in your DAY JOB managing health care contracts and purchases worth even billions of pounds, seems to me you spend a lot of time on these chat forums. When do you do any real work? Are you by any chance another TWatcher? You are going to the same filter, where you can chat forever with him( or yourself).Stach

You are contradicting yourself fellow, no matter how important you are trying to appear .No amount of capital letters to your pseudonym you attach will raise your importance.
You quote: "A tendering authority can withdraw a tender at any time up to award." The award already has been made in May of 2021.I have run NHS Laboratories for 37 years at a Consultant level, replacing equipment at a cost of millions of pounds over that period so I do know something about " Tendering". Have you ever been to see how things are done? I doubt it.Stach
