Phase 3 for Non-small cell lung cancer costs,for patients already diagnosed and having failed all treatments are not going to be that expensive.In order to get statistical values 30-60 patients as a minimum will be required.In most Trials in Phase 3 the costs per patient rarely exceed £50000.00.I can foresee that £3mln will be an adequate sum to conduct thisTrial by Valiseek.A double of that would probably cover a long 2-3 years .The length of The Trial is crucial regarding the costs but in our case it may be very short as in advanced cancers that show significant improvement under treatment,such drugs are speedily advanced into production and permits to sales.Remember that such Compounds already have had their safety and tolerability tested and approved.Therefore there will be no years to wait for the results as some indicate here on this bb or horrendously expensive.Stach

It is only small cell lung cancer that will not be tested as there are already treatments for that type of tumour.I am not sure or convinced that the SCOPE of The Trial will be enlarged as I think they will concentrate first only on lung cancer.If they did enlarge the scope,it would need de novo applications for each different tumour thus cause the delays and increase the costs as well as dilute the value (for instance with poor results in some tumours).I hope it helps.Stach

I think there will be a lot spitting blood due to not buying CERP at 2+p/share when we shall get the RNS in the beginning of April. I expect it to be so good that our share price here will revert to 6-7p/share.Very rarely I speculate on the next share price but we are so undervalued here with around 1000 boo/day production and great plans a being realized one by one by LK that.I have added 200k today into my ISA for keeps.Stach

At just 680 mln shares you only need 680 people with 1ml shares each to scoop the lot.The problem are market makers,who are determined to keep the share price so low as for no other research small Parma with a drug close to Phase 3.Stach

Well,I am a bit calmer now following this last RNS.At last VAL tell us some truths,firstly confirming that VAL-201 is safe in higher dose too(16mg/kg) and that The Trial still ongoing,secondly that another Compound VAL-301 a derivative from VAL-201, is doing well in preclinical tests,on the basis of which International Patents have been granted.The third truth is an admission that there is no buyers yet for the VAL-201.I have never thought that without hard Clinical positive numbers(statistics) there would be any buyer.I think that at last it also dawned on VAL Directors too.However there are a few very important ,good points here to be highlighted.First ,three years of the safety statistics are excellent(long enough period for this to say so),second -the efficacy is repeatedly stated although without firm figures yet except that PSA have fallen in some patients by as much as 50%,stated in their previous RNSs and presentations.Third,due to the longevity of the Trial there maybe an improvement in survival of these seriously already ill patients and in their quality of life.These will be analysed at the end of The CURRENT Trial.Finally VAL keeps repeating that the observed "efficacy" is similar to that seen in the Pre-Clinical experiments and that means very good to me as on that basis MHRA allowed VAL-201 to commence its Clinical Trial.I hope that my thoughts today will chear many of you up.ATB- Stach

Thanks to you both.My continues gripe on these BBs is the presence (and their perception of value) of MMs.There virtually is no reality in pricing the shares which causes a lot of unhappiness between the shareholders.With just under 700 million of shares here and considering that many hold more than one million of VAL's shares, the value of the Company is grossly underestimated.Afterall we are in advanced Clinical Trial (third year for VAL-201) and one that just finished for VAL-401(this one has had very few patients in it but still with positive results) and the share price is half a penny! You only need 500 people or so to double their holdings if they could buy it all at once and there would be nothing left for the others.Then they value other similar Companies 10 x more.Where is the logic?When the share price was at about seven pence/share,it was about right.For those that wish to criticise my comment here and defend the MMs,I ask, why they have raise share price of VAL to over 70p/share in the past without any results in the Clinic? I see a lot of deleted posts,suggesting to me that the feeling of many posters borderlines on despair that prompts them to vent their anger on other posters or the BoDs.Please remember that VAL-201 Clinical Trial is still ongoing and that means that there is a value in this process.Also remember the type of patients taking part in this Trial,very late stages of the disease with massive amounts of tumour to cope with and the Tumour being resistant to all other forms of treatment.If there were signs that the treatment with VAL-201 was not working,The Trial by now would have been suspended.I know this,having worked in the NHS for almost 40 years at the highest senior level and conducting /supervising numerous Clinical Trials with all sorts of malignancies in adults and in children.There is no messing about if the regular reports from the clinicians,repeatedly are unfavourable.The Trial is stopped.This is to protect the patients from unnecessary tribulations as well as stop the expenditure,which is always considerable.This has not happened in the case of VAL-201.The meaningful results should be available fairly soon and I am waiting for the quarterly Report by the mid April.The share price is probably at its lowest and those with losses (including myself in a big way) could miss a significant re-rating with good news if they sell now.The News does not need to be about "the buyer" but about good RESULTS. The buyers will appear from nowhere in such a case.I am still in reasonable hope for this share.Stach

There seems to be a lot of defenders of mms on this bbs yet it is them,who set the prices and the spreads.Example: yesterday and today.You can not blame Dr Morris for these two days and there has been a litany of such days on all AIM shares.As soon as criticism is conveyed there pops up a ripost defending them.Be aware of experienced City boys with connections populating these bbs.How many times each of genuine investors here thought,what the hell is the reason for the share price dropping with buys exceeding sales,often two to one? Hi ! Some people do not wish or do not have an acumen to think more carefully,our mcap is just over £5mls and the number of shares is 500mls.You only need 500 individuals to hold 1 ml shares to make the whole mcap for us.With penny shares that is so obvious ,there are many individuals on this bb,who have more than a million shares each.This is why raising money for the medical research on AIM is so difficult as such research is so expensive once it gets to the clinical stage.In our case we were not able to find a buyer or a partner after the laboratory results were ready and published.We are doing the whole bloody lot oureself hence it took so long and when I say "we" I mean the shareholders financing the lot.

Keep to facts,it is what I am doing.Have you looked at number of shares in issue(0.5 b) and two drugs in Clinical Trials,one near completion(VAL-201) and did you look at comparative Companies regarding their share numbers and their share prices? How do you think VAL would have progressed these Trials without finance raising via shares issue?They could have done that better as I indicated in my previous posts(repeatedly).However the point now is a fact that the shares are grossly undervalued,no matter what happened in the past.How do you explain MMs keeping share price at 7p last year when we were not as close to the end of these Trials? Well,if things are going according to plan with VAL-201 Study,the Completion Date in the Protocol is June 2019.By that time we should be having the Data on around 50 patients.That Data ,as I see it, should be also analysed by that time.Therefore I am expecting an interim RNS just about now.The share price is grossly (and artificially) suppressed by mms and has been for a long time.MMs,time to pull your socks up.Stach

Usually VAL issues their RNSs on Thursdays.MMs must have got a sniff of some good news before us and hence the sudden share price rise.If this continues ,it will confirm to me that I am right.GLA - Stach
