Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Steady on with those facts Pictland! :)
I remember ages ago, Windows said something along the lines of .. it won’t be long until shareholders are saying there’s no point in selling now....Of course he was right, and here we all are.
Hi Fountains. I’ve been in and out of Chill since HNR, and have a lot more confidence in Callum. I’m glad they got rid of the cowboys, both literally and figuratively ;)
I would love to be spouting positivity every day Tread, but after seeing my investment dwindle away, I’m struggling to find the enthusiasm. Not only has the company been wholly mismanaged, but the products haven’t hit the right spot. It’s great that shareholders are raving about the products, but is anyone else buying them? Perhaps if they had been priced more sensibly, it would have been a different story. Maybe not.
A Hollywood actor, Kristen Bell, launched a cbd face cream brand at the end of 2020. Happy Dance. They’re now shutting down the brand, as there wasn’t any demand for CBD beauty products. They will now shift all focus onto thc edibles.
“Interest in CBD and CBD beauty are on the decline. According to data from Spate, Google searches for CBD are down 61% year-over-year. Skin-care related CBD searches have decreased by 86.9%”
“Beauty brands such as The Feelist and Wldkat began phasing out CBD from their skin-care products in 2021”
“In terms of the beauty market, CBD has not been received the way we all thought it would,” said Wldkat founder Amy Zuzunegui”
My neighbour at the moment is the CEO of a Colorado based company called Kaya Cannabis. They are flower growers, who sell thc products. They used to also sell cbd products, but apparently no one wanted them. He was pretty scathing about cbd products, but I suppose he would be.
Of course I want this to work out. However, unlike you, I’m not going to be disingenuous with my enthusiasm.
The products might be good, but what if Cannaray Ltd has zero interest in the lotions and potions? What is stopping them offloading Cellular Goods if/when they secure the listing that they’re after?
I echo everything that Paul said. Cellular Goods has left itself wide open to the criticism and negativity.
This has been a rollercoaster of emotions. I remember feeling excited about this company, when I watched Alexis Abraham talk about it on Sky News. They had the money and exposure! Then feeling annoyed and frustrated when the company made inexcusable **** ups, including lack of awareness around the regulatory issues surrounding their business. Now to feeling despondent, and stupid, about the amount of money lost here.
So yes, us ‘oldies’ have paid our grumbling dues. I hope for everyone’s sake this works out (in whatever form), and we all get some of our money back.
Does anyone know if the pet care range, that was touted in the prospectus and on the Reddit Q&A, still in the pipeline? I know that they took on a pet care consultant for 6 months, but there’s been nothing since. Also, the cbd mask prototypes were in the testing stage 2 years ago. Where are they?
Who isn’t invested? I’ve unfortunately been here since day 1.
They are now selling duo sets, that equal a discount of between 24- 27%. The welcome discount has also been upped from 10% to 20%. Desperate times...
Helena is still doing her bit ;)

L’Officiel, one of the leading and oldest French luxury fashion magazines, posted about Cellular Goods and Helena today on Instagram. It’s had over 1000 likes so far, so it’s getting seen. It’s on their Middle Eastern page, which has more followers than their French one.

I know I’m always moaning about them, but it feels as though Cellular Goods has never really taken running a business seriously. They are lax about everything. They haven’t even taken the time to update the significant shareholders list.
If you equate grown up debate with conspiracy theories, then perhaps it is you who is desperate. Only risk what you can afford to lose :)
When the LOI was announced, they had 3 lots of figures to play around with. Now they only have 2 (granted, LCH was just an added extra). So is it really a certainty they can value CG + CB in excess of £30m?
Beans123. Childishly, I was being a tad facetious ;)
JBsok. I asked because I thought it to be a legitimate question.
I know when I mentioned it before, AM01 came in with approx £45m, but I am not so confident. Of course, that’s just my opinion though.
Btw. Where did AM01, and his technical analysis, disappear to? :)
Is everyone confident that Cellular Goods + Cannaray Brands are worth the mmc of £30m?
Also. Cannaray are 6 weeks late in filing their confirmation statement. I know it’s just a formality, but it’s one they have a legal duty to do. With the scrutiny around getting their listing, wouldn’t they want to be on the ball with things like this?
A differing opinion/viewpoint does not constitute an ulterior motive.
JBsok. Aren’t you concerned about why Durban are “selling aggressively and at any price” ? They could have sold at any time, at a much higher price, but appear to be desperate to get out now. I’m stupid, but it’s not screaming ‘unmissable bargain’ to me.
CG were tagged in a post about CBD/CBG face masks by good culture. I wonder if we’re finally going to get the cbd masks that were promised from day 1?
