It’s been exactly 12 months since the contract with Helena was signed, and it looks as though it could have come to an end. All her images have been removed from the website, Amazon, Sephora etc.
Six figures.. These supermodels are ruthless! :)
Well, that’s the Cellular Goods pre Christmas party sorted!
It appears that the man who’s been placating shareholders from day one (Neil Thapar) is no longer the IR contact. I thought he was part of the Cellular Goods furniture.
As CTT wisely said, anything can happen here. I expect M.Lodge will want a decent price for his shares.
Following on from the content creator, the product development manager’s role is now gone - “Sadly, the position I loved was eliminated after almost 3 years”.
It’s a shame we didn’t get to see all those products that were being developed.
Any idea of how much Cellular Goods the brand would realistically be worth? The company doesn’t own anything, the ingredients are readily available to any company, Arcania Apothecary produces the products and it hasn’t built a notable customer base. I have no idea how it works. Would it be valued on a multiple of current revenue?
Btw. It may seem trivial to some, but the company was made aware of basic mistakes on the LinkedIn page a week ago. No one has bothered to rectify. Cellular Goods has always careless. With both their publications and shareholders money.
I don’t use LinkedIn, so have only just noticed that Cellular Goods is listed as being privately held. A minor point, but one that should be correct.
Hi all. I’m new to Optibiotix, having bought in the last month. I have to say that this is one of the most sensible, and informative boards I’ve read. The realistic and grounded information from you long term holders is refreshing and very much appreciated! :)
It’s the company’s 5 year anniversary of incorporation today. They could wheel out Darcy again, to reflect on the (£13m) journey so far.
I’ve emailed a few carbon credit companies about kelp carbon sequestration. I thought this reply from the Founder/CEO of CNaught was interesting.
“Thank you for your inquiry about carbon credits, with a focus on kelp carbon sequestration.
Congratulations on making a commitment as a company to help combat climate change.
Committing to change normal business practice is the first step in making a difference.
Unfortunately, kelp sequestration has not yet proven to be a reliable way to measurably lock up carbon over a long period of time. The largest player in the sector, Running Tide, recently shifted towards sinking regular wood piles instead of kelp because of some questions about the longevity of kelp carbon”

If nothing else, your Twitter campaign has spawned a Cellular Goods investor relations page.

I think we all know that Paul has been one of the biggest supporters of CG, and still is. He wants the BOD to do better, and to make this succeed. He’s probably paying the office electric bill with all the product he buys.
Absolutely no disrespect to Paul, but you’re giving him far too much credit. If a company can’t secure deals, or the trust of new investors, because someone is making comments on a bulletin board, then there are much larger issues afoot. And there are!
More waffle from Desperate Darcy.
I’m guessing Alexis Abraham would be in favour of that. When the Cannaray deal was on the table he said “Cellular the skincare products and brand need to be grown as a private company by people who understand the space”

Cellular Goods never deliver on their promises...
King Tide update
Good afternoon.
I have seen a lot of Twitter activity in regard to an update on our acquisition of King Tide.
Can you please confirm please that we will be receiving an update this month?
Kindest regards
Melissa

Thank you for your enquiry. The company does not comment on market speculation.
However we are aware of our shareholders abiding interest in the acquisition and rest assured will provide updates about the business in due course when ready and as soon as it is appropriate.
As a public company we are not allowed to steer you towards exact timelines about specific announcements which may or may not be in preparation.
We appreciate your forbearance and support.
The carelessness of CG never ceases to amaze me.
They posted on Instagram today and stated “Exclusive to Cellular Goods in the UK, CBG works on a cellular level to reduce inflammation”, which of course is not true. I emailed Mr Thaper to remind him that British Cannabis has a CBG serum, which they’re selling in numerous UK outlets.
The post has since been edited.
I went through the motions of creating a health and beauty account. The commission was 4.99% and 0.30p per transaction.
