YTSS - yes, if any conversion of warrants or CLNs has occurred then an RNS is mandatory because it will result in: a) the creation of new shares by BMN and a date for their admission to the market. b) a reduction in the number of outstanding warrants/CLNs. The company must promptly and accurately keep the market informed of these pieces of info. There are no exceptions and no valid reasons for delay. This info is 100% known by BMN (as they create the shares) so there is no reason they wouldn't know if warrants/CLNs had been exercised. Therefore it is now pretty much assured that the recent selling activity is not this. However, if the selling is from a significant shareholder then, as PP says, this offers more scope for it happening without an RNS as it is threshold driven.

Agreed knuttie - any sort of buying pressure and this will move up 10-20% in no time at all. Buying pressure as the result of news and 30p+ will be here before you can catch your breath.

YTSS - when warrants are exercised, BMN creates new shares in the company and it is obligated to report this via RNS (the number of new shares, the new total number of shares, and the date the new shares are admitted to the market). This is the responsibility of BMN not the warrant holder to report (it is BMN that creates the shares so it must know whether the warrants have been exercised or not) and BMN has always taken its regulatory responsibilities very seriously e.g. by reporting warrant exercise days ahead of when any new shares become admitted. Therefore if warrants have already been exercised this week then expect an RNS in the next day or so.

Very different trading pattern in the first hour today. Almost no volume and no MM nonsense. I wonder if this is an indication that the seller/warrant holder is done with their activity. Let's hope so.

Also worth remembering the consequences of Beaufort's recent demise where some investors have very large SIPPs locked in and potentially going to lose a large percentage to cover PWCs admin. The FSCS compensation scheme will cover losses up to �50K for Beaufort clients (including the PWC haircut) so the original poster might want to consider de-risking his planned �95K transfer by splitting across 2 providers just in case something similar happens to their new provider. No-one on these boards can accurately assess the risk of something similar happening elsewhere, so looking to reduce the risk by spreading the investments may far outweigh just looking for who will do the cheapest transfer or charge the lowest trading commissions.

My suspicion is that it's Yellow Dragon selling a proportion of the 54m shares they obtained for the December buyout of their holding. Part of the deal was that YD agreed to a 12 month orderly market disposal period. I don't know what counts as 'orderly' in this case - probably only BMN and TD will ever know - but disposing of all 54m would work out at 4.5m per month. This assumes YD want to sell some or all of their shares but a) they soon got shot of 50m a couple of years back and regularly cashed their warrants b) they're sitting on a good profit from the 9p 'fully paid' price they were credited as having paid.

Spot on, FB. However these tactics work best where: - their target companies have little or no revenue, are loss making, have poor cash flow, have high debt, need further debt, and have large warrant/CLN overhangs (usually with lenders of poor repute). - there are sufficient numbers of poorly researched PIs who cannot tell a decent company from a bad one and who are sitting on paper losses. These folks are easy to scare. In contrast, BMN now has extremely strong revenue, profit and cash flow. It has low debt and negligible outstanding warrants (all of which are well in the money in any case). BMN has an extremely repeatable - and expandable - business model on the mining side and huge potential on the energy storage side. It mines and processes a product in large demand for the foreseeable future (decades) and where there is major supply constraint so there is pretty much nothing on the horizon which can interrupt these strong revenues, profits, and cash flow. it also has the largest high grade reserve in the world in Mokapane just waiting for its mining right. Just dig the stuff up ad watch the money roll in year after year after year. BMN also has a really knowledgeable PI LTH base that, in pretty much without exception, should now all be in very significant profit (millions in some cases, hundreds of thousands in many others). Therefore they have confidence in their own judgement and in the company. Their (our) success should also give more recent investors confidence that when these LTHs say this investment still has a long, long way to run upwards then they know what they are talking about. In short, the trouble-makers and time-wasters are just noise that can be safely ignored. BMN is and will continue to be a great investment (it will easily multi-bag from the 21p level within 12 months) so investors should just sit back, relax, and not get steamed up when nonsense is posted aimed solely at winding them up and getting them banned from here. Bid just moved up from 19.0p to 19.4 then, within a few seconds, to 19.5p. Large order complete and to appear later? Price move should now encourage more trades as things had got a bit stuck the last hour or so.

Bargain basement prices rapidly coming to an end. Once we push into the 20p+ range again - which may well be later today the way things are shaping up - then I'd be surprised if we see the BMN share price appear with a 1 at the start again until we reach 100p :-)

So it looks like SP Angel are doing BMN and it's shareholders a nice short-term favour by keeping their projected long-term price for FeV at $35/kg.....at least until the Sojitz deal is complete. Perhaps that's why FM never seems ruffled by the projection.

98D7 - this is an old wives tales that keeps on resurfacing and it is completely false. All of the main brokers that PIs use - Halifax, HL, ii, Barclays, etc - have repeatedly confirmed that they NEVER lend out shares held by PIs in nominee accounts. No matter how many times people ask the brokers, they always get the same answer and yet somehow this nonsense persists. Incredible.

Endion - to add to Daisan's point, the info about whether a trade is a buy or a sell is a guess based on the executed price and the bid/ask at the time the trade is published. If the price is below the midpoint of the bid/ask it is guessed to be a sell, above the midpoint and it is guessed to be a buy. The real LSE doesn't publish whether the trade was a buy or a sell so sites like this one need to guess.

The snow in December was a fair and valid reason for the drop in LFL sales. In comparison with Dec 2016, the snow was far more widespread and disruptive - particularly to the areas of the UK where Marston's does most business - and it will have led to reduced sales at a particularly busy time of the year for pubs.
