Hi Jan. Hopefully the market will get the message soon. There is no other CEO out there buying as much stock consistently in the company as he is. Auson - point taken that it was 28000 shares but still a ridiculously low amount. He should bet the ranch on the stock!

Not me - him. Figure of speech. Anyway - i am sure his trousers cost at least £500 pounds so maybe he has foregone kitting out his wardrobe this spring :-(.

I think his trousers probably cost more than the 5000 shares he bought. Ridiculous!

It is great to see AB still buying. There is no doubting his commitment to the cause although I admit in the dark old days I did doubt. Nevertheless, disappointing to not see others follow suit. Lennox should be dismissed for his derisory purchase of 5000 shares.

It is difficult to grasp quite what is happening with the enquest sp which is separate from what is happening with the business. I think that the business operations for what we can see is going very well and production right now is possibly as high as 75k barrels a day. Nevertheless, the sp is being held down and in a tight range for reasons that no one on this board really understand, and perhaps AB is not even privy to. I think that AB has done all within his power to show that he thinks the share is undervalued but sadly the impact of his purchases is now almost negligible. The sp is lowever now than when it was before the Victoria McCullough sent the sp nose diving with her incorrect Net Debt covenant analysis. Mud sticks and it seems like that was the cue people were looking for. It is quite ridiculous that Enquest will generate more in FCF than what the company is worth not to mention that the company is worth less than the NPV of Magnus at 70 Brent!!!

Hi auson - read the transcript. Think it was good that they had their engineer in the call. I think that we are probably seeing that but as someone else wrote analysts hate uncertainty and until cairn retracts what they have Said i fear that analysts will remain negative. That Said the recommendations are bull

I am ecstatic with 40k. That is beyond what we all could have dreamt when cairn blew the legs away from this sp. Sadly i dont think the sp will Rise significantly until Both things that have sunk this share are addressed - kraken production which looks good and the reserves update from cairn rather than enquest. It says an awful lot when the analysts believe the minority partner over the operator but there we are.

Hi pelle IF kraken is now at 35k and was previously around 23 then production should be somewhere around 74-75k now?

Hitman - agreed. Enquest lost an awful lot of cred by being silent but on the other hand IF they had told the truth we would prob be toast. Heres to scott spirit. Beam me up scotty!

Great work krakenoil for picking that up with Scott Spirit. Hopefully the sp will only slide marginally on that great news. That might have been what propped up the sp this afternoon.

Hi pelle, Enquest has been valued at these scrap levels for 4.5 years. Are you meaning that the market has been so wrong for so long? I agree it is worth more but you need a good salesman at the healm. It is logical that you need a CEO who is capable of selling the value of the company to the market so they indeed believe it.

Pelle - it is worth exactly what the market says it is worth - 19.4 p or thereabouts. We should be glad that it is not 11p or worse still below 10p. :-(. Pmo leadership does a good job selling their company.

I think that IF enquest reacts passively to this is simply an utter disgrace! All real shareholders are sick to the back teeth of the manipulation of the sp. AB may have deep pockets but he cant for the life of him sell this as an investment to the broader market. Unfortunately he doesnt come across as terribly convincing in the report presentations. I guess English is his second language so it is difficult for him. Maybe Bob should step up?

Thanks for following up on that pelle. Clearly enquest has zero credibility with the analyst community. No one has accepted their reserves calculations.

I cannot see that all these recommendations are nothing short of sp manipulation. It is disgusting. Maybe AB is setting himself up to up his stake to 30%?

What the hell is going on here?

My feeling is we will need to wait until late 2020 when net debt is close to 1 bn to see the sp close in on the sp top from sept last year. It is a slow burner. Just accumulate and pray
