Hopefully Trump already knew this would happen. He does seem to make policy decisions based on what he reads on twitter. He has not cut one lasting IR meaningful deal apart from with the russians to get himself elected. Lets see where we end up but quite honestly AB needs to do more than buy shares because at the end of the day this benefits him and not shareholders. He really killed the sp with that Oz deal and the Ri. We have been knocked for six! 60% below terp and 8% below the Ri price. AB the great businessman! Hitman you are completely right when you ask what time horizon. It is ABs time horizon and he and only he knows that. Maybe now he is taking from the charity account it could be significantly in the future as he would not want to lose on that. Gambling is a question of time horizon as well.

Interesting romoron. I see that AB normally invested from double a although he has invested from this fund previously even before ramadan. Lets see IF we go up rather than down tomorrow

There is no doubting his commitment to his company. It is simply the ability to show that he is creating value. Good to see another paycheck going into the company.

See they have a lot of gas reserves. I believe the market is also counting on potential from zuma. The other thing i notice is that premier has significantly lower retail Bonds - around 191 musd. They have Done private placements and have higher rcf. Wonder IF that is also a factor. Notice that that was something many analysts were not so happy about re enquest

Hi krakenoil. I dont think you need to look that far. You will find that premier oil has grown quite successfully, managed the deliver of catcher and reached plateau levels and not had to go ti shareholders Twice to ask for money to keep the company Rolling. That Oz deal was also unexpected. Anyway you know what i mean. We will be here tomorrow, sp will be dropping, you will get worked up and wonder why people are shorting this great company and all the while the answer is staring us in the face. All recs are sell and target price 11p apart from jp Morgan. Anyway, i dont want to get in an argument. It is what it is.

Agreed pelle. IF enquest is to lift we need a credible CEO at the healm who has Done this before and van attract investors to their vision. Unfortunately everything that AB has touched has Done little to impress Magnus aside but here we were back to the company’s sweet spot - buy an aged and unloved asset and get more out of it - mind you i think they have paid a premium for that right. All the other assets were a step away from this usp and have either fallen flat (scolty, Alma, galia) or been a long drawn out process (kraken). Who knows - maybe selgi and pm8 might be a darkhorse - big reserves that they can cultivate. Hopefully this new non exec director can get a steer on AB. Not surprised that he has fallen off the rich list - doesnt deserve to be there after this performance.

Agree with soder pelle. AB will hoard Every penny. It would not be sensible for enquest to pay out any dividends until they can show some sense of sensibility. I do wonder whether all money is handled for the benefit of shareholders sometimes

Hi pelle. Agree with your sentiments entirely. From memory you have quite a sizeable investment in enquest like myself so i completely understand your frustrations. It is a concern when the market believes cairn (minority kraken partner) more than enquest so hopefully they will have a good story to tell next week. Also this new non-exec director with experience of value development might talk some sense into AB when he comes onboard. Will be interesting to see what seapulse yields. I think your calcs look reasonable

Thats great krakenoil but you have to ask yourself the question - would 100 brent make any difference to enquest sp. We might creep up to 25p. We were all claiming 60p once poo hit 80 and nothing of the sort materialised. Indeed AB stuck out his hand and asked for 120m from investors. He has zero credibility with the investing community and i think a sp of 20p with poo at 71 reflects that.

Don't worry MO - nothing happening here. Indeed I think the sp is around the price it was at when you left 6 months ago. Small flimmer to show that there is still a hear beat but otherwise AB has snuffed out all life from the sp.

I think there are problems again at Kraken. Looks like something has go´ne horribly wrong with loads 36 and 37.

Auson - i do not doubt that he had a horrendous experience and good for him that he has made a lot of money - about time he did so for shareholders who have put a lot of hard earned money into this company

Hi auson, Not sure which AB you refer to. I am referring to the CEO of enquest that has turned the company from being valued at 1bn market cap and no debt to 300m and 1.7bn in net debt.
