I didnt think that brent had Held above the average required during the past six months bit others were of the strong opinion that it had. My calculation was that we had been around 63 and needed 66 whereas others Said it needed to be 65 and we had been above it

Have to agree chilting that broker updates are about as reliable as brexit. The analysts who create them are probably School dropouts

October to february the average brent price has been below 63 dollars so my guess would be no.

Agree krakenoil. This is a share where we could pay down 1 billion and no impact. What i suspect has happened is a shitman pointed out that the analysts have looked beyond the headline ebitda and seen that long term debt has been shifted to short term. IF we add that back net debt is 1,9 bn. Had they not Done a Capital raise we would be exactly where we started the year...

Preferred when we had buckley as chairman who with a rush of blood bought millions of shares above 80p making huge losses and then retired. He was a real chairman! No one else in management has any balls apart from AB. AB should demand that they all at least hold 1 million shares each

Jeffries has just issued a target price of 15p. Anyone know how they calculate that?

I must admit I am stumped by the sp reaction after the report last week. On the whole I thought it was very good, I think that AB and the team came well prepared (it was good to have the engineer on hand to answer questions relating directly to Kraken). Nevertheless, it appears that the focus is well and truly on Kraken. AB has not managed to divert attention to other assets one bit. It could also be that there is some action to financially squeeze him and this will take place regardless of the figures he reports. I was also interested on the analysis L3 (I believe) made on the Magnus loan payment. Has AB delayed paying that off to improve the net debt figures?

Even barclays will be too embarrased. They were claiming that net debt would Rise to 2 bn. They should be disallowed from providing forecasts. Idiots!

Not sure IF reading correct but earnings per share of 10c a share. Equity almost 1bn. Obviously a write down of kraken would have hit us. Havent seen any comment in the report yet about that so have to wait for comments. Passes the sniff or rather squif test :-)

We have been burnt too many Times but looks good, AB is talking about shareholder returns which is pleasing. It is quite simply a scandal all the shorting of the share that has occured

GLA! Good that brent is playing ball. As always we need to look beyond the headline Numbers and decipher exactly what AB is saying but hopefully it removes the clouds.
