Jan - they will come? Are you referring to the paid mob from Enquest or the blue eyed investors like yourself who think everything is positive? Wait a minute, AB is asking for more money, I will naturally pay up and not ask any further questions lol
Interesting to look back at what the company Enquest was 2011 and compare where we are today. It has gone 10 years. At year end 2011, the Market Cap was approx. $1.15 BN and net liabilities $350M giving an EV of $1.5BN. Fast forward to year end 2021, the Market Cap was $475M and net liabilities $2.57 BN giving an EV of $3.05BN.
During this time there has been CAPEX of $6BN, Acquisitions of $1.8BN, Financial Leases of $770M, Financing costs of $1.19BN and net borrowing $1.03BN with the end result of cumulative net losses of $1.07 BN which includes impairment write-offs of $3.2BN. Shareholders have been hit up for $291M.
I will do some digging and try to understand how many shares AB and JS have rewarded themselves with. JS has sold all his so that shows his unwavering belief in the company and ABs leadership.
Tigar - no I haven't. I am just a disgruntled investor who has had enough of ABs empty promises. He is not fit to be the CEO of the company. The only reason that he is is because he is a majority shareholder. He needs to go and a sensible person take over. Do you blindly put faith in the CEO of company's you invest in? Yes I made a mistake investing in Enquest but enough is enough. AB needs to go.
Agree largely with your message Epip. I realise this is a pile of ****e and will move to better investment alternatives soon. I realise all the scribes who spout positive messages on here are either paid stooges (Romoron and Mrc) and dillusional (Kraken and Jan). AB is a failed CEO and sadly not even the experience of over 10 years of failure has taught him a single thing. He continues to lurch from one bad decision to the next.
Another woeful update from the charlatan AB. Net debt at year end was slightly better than I had it at 1.22BN v 1.28BN but with the target production at 44-51k so picking a midpoint of 47.5k and with horrific hedging of 50% with a ceiling of $78, higher capex and decom I get a fcf of $480M for 2022. What does it take to get rid of this parasite??? He must be buddies with Boris.
Banana - I don't think lse cares any longer about Enquest - for them this is a privately held company. It is the height of disdain that AB and IR can't be bothered informing when they want to inform the market. We know how this story will end. More poor execution and lowered expectations. AB is a clown
Well that has what all those 3 capital raisings have all been about and yes to plug the hole that AB blew out of the company with his misguided investment in Alma Galia. That blew a $1.4BN dent in the equity of the company!
Absolutely stunned to read your post Pelle. You have come some ways in your thinking. Like many you would previously write gushing commentaries about AB and the enormous dividend potential of Enquest even after another dog of a half baked update that that clown would send out but now you are starting to realise how much we have been played by this master conman. This is a privately run company sharading as a stocklisted company. If anyone is interested I move for a full and independent review of operations at the next AGM.
