AB mention of Amazon was a bit awkward. "...Amazon, which is obviously, umm, a very well known global distributor of products..." - they would certainly allow AFC to go global in one hit!
Amazon would also like to operate drones, I don't like that idea of the future, but that is VTOL which the RNS mentions.
In the proactive interview Bond says "we see that the market for grids augmentation is potentially much bigger than the actual market for EV charging" and the partnership with ABB will give then access to this market.
Could it be that the "Grid Augmentation" is handled by a big fuel cell (eg. power for service station / marina facilities / top up ev chargers) and that the car chargers are smaller independent fuel cells. Not sure if that's clearly articulated...
This would mean AFC could get multiple bites of the cherry.

Same logo and waste to energy remit. Founded in 2009 via PHE America and they use IP bought by PHE.
"PowerHouse Energy Utilizes Pyromexβs Ultra-High Temperature Gasification System for waste-to-energy projects."
Any ideas what is going on!?
In terms of the kit - what might be the 2 ton to 25/30 ton scaling issues? Veloces (VLS) failed when they tried to scale and the SP died. What are the biggest hurdles we have ahead re. Kit. With VLS the reactor chamber failed, hence keen to hear thoughts and know mitre about our metal(?) chamber. Thanks.
They have a working fuel cell(!) that's scalable, cheap to run (3x9s), money in the bank, manufacturing facilities, partners to die for and a diversifued product suite to evolve with the market adoption of hydrogen. Right product, right place, right time, as someone succinctly put it.
Thanks Stokey.
Anyone know what has replaced ther ceramic chamber? Is it now made of the stuff on the outside of a space shuttle thi withstand the heat? Do we know if the chamber is 'off the shelf', tried and tested or our IP?
Thanks
Morning all, I've looked through my posting history and can't find the answer to this question I've previously posed.
Is there anything 'unchartered' about the DMG system that might make scaling up an issue, apart from the fact it's a first! For example, is the ceramic(?) reactor chamber already proven at the 25 / 30 ton scale and at ultra-high temps (1800c), in combination or separately?
Thanks and sorry to question things at such a positive time!
Hi Telephoneman, firstly, you have been a great support to LTHs and I even recal you reaching out to HW back when this was a lot lower to reassure me re. The take over. So thank you for your insight and posting history.
Today, thank you for your detailed breakdown to 'compare' ITM. Your absolutely right, they're not really comparable companies in many ways, not least as PHE solves a massive environmental problem whilst being hugely profitable, scalable, repeatable and global!
I'm very happy to have stayed the course on this one and so glad Peel are championing PHE, it's hugely reassuring.
Hi Newboy - I got into ARB a month or so ago and sold some PHE today to buy more. It's a crypto mining company (powered by hydro :) so a completely new field for me and not what you were asking about but was looking for some diversity and bitcoin exposure. Recent directors QAs on twitter are interesting and the Blonity Youtube video comparing the market / peers are eye watering. I think this stock has huge potential otherwise I would not have sold any PHE.
Thanks Dr.A / telephonenan - 58Mwh is more than double what I calculated :)
So, to compare apple's with apple's, are we saying that ITM produce 1000Mwh and have a 2.2 billion Mcap and that it'll take 18 DMGs to produce 1Gwh, so PHE should have an Mcap of (2.2b/18) 122m. And we do!!
A simple formula for guessing future PHE valuations.
No problem Dr.A, I thought you might know of the top of your head.
The answer to my question appears to be:
"In electrical terms, the energy density of hydrogen is equal to 33.6 kWh of usable energy per kg, versus diesel which only holds about 12β14 kWh per kg. What this really means is that 1 kg of hydrogen, used in a fuel cell to power an electric motor, contains approximately the same energy as a gallon of diesel."
From the above 13 x 2000 = 26000 kWh / day
Does that mean each DMG is 26mW system and we would need 29 of them to equal the ITM Giga watt factory output?
Sorry, I'm not really sure how these power measures all add up!?
Thanks Dr Anomoly, do you know what 2 tons of H2 means in terms of power output which is what most other facilities use as a benchmark - ie. ITM and their 1Gw plant
From Jan 2020 - ABB has received an order for a further 324 high-power electric vehicle (EV) chargers from IONITY β a joint venture of BMW Group, Daimler AG, Ford Motor Company.

I was just about to add a ps. to my post congratulating AFC staff. :) Well said - well done AFC, thank you all.
Vertical Take off and Landing Craft (VTOLs) are mentioned in the RNS as a key ABB market! I've seen such things at the Geneva Motor Show (airbus car with detatchable drone!) but didn't know they were in the real world... anyone know more about this sector?
Thanks to everyone who's honestly contributed to this board. It's been an emotional and, at times, soul searching journey for LTHs. I 'knew' (really hoped!) this day would come and I'm very grateful to all those who have shared much deeper knowledge than I posess. Well done all LTHs, you made it!!
Thanks everyone for your input. I agree strongly with this - "30m mcap for a company producing circa Β£1.8m mining revenue and Β£1.2 mining profit per month at current levels (by my calculations) isn't sustainable for long" and also as mentioned with the possible US listing / takeover the future is looking very exciting! Happy to have joined the party before the madding crowd. GLA
Hi all, question from a new ARB Investor. I've been here for less than a month and hold more here than the cost of 1 BTC. In BTC I hold about 0.07% of s coin! ARB can be invested in an ISA/SIPP which is handy but do we think (along with Blonity?), that this will out perform BTC? Note - I plan to add more balance to BTC going forward. Thanks.
Yellowf1 - you derided this share at 0.5p and your mocking others!? I think it's obvious who the fool is in this scenario.
Ledzep - thanks for your time and for sharing this info with us, much appreciated!
