I thought GR was going to start swearing..it really is a cluster fk of the first degree. so we wait till July for the next piece of kit to fix the plant...there has to be more funds raised so they might as well get 6 months' worth of running costs at .10 I'm down so much I've written it off so if I get most of my money back in a couple of years I'll be happy.

Sorry Gray, I didn't pick up your earlier note. I honestly didn't know wind turbines used so much copper...not that I didn't belive you but I googled it and it said 5,000 to 7000 tonnes for a wind farm and an incredible 5.5 tonnes per MWh for solar..mind blowing..I don't know if the technology is here right now to substitute cu for al without unacceptable losses..in the manhatten project they used silver from Fort knox due to copper shortages during the war..

It's supply and demand..you could argue that £50k for bitcoin is ludicrous or $400 for a Tesla share even dafter..but people have paid it. Substitution of aluminium for copper? possibly but you want your machine to operate the best you can whether it be a traction motor for a train or windings on a drill..it would take an massive increase in copper price for it to be designed out and you're looking at years as opposed to months to re-jig everything

Mines are incredibly difficult to bring on line..massive leadtimes, production start difficulties, huge investments required and all the while the world needs more copper..wind farms, electrification of transport even if we veer towards hybrids..artificial intelligence and recycling will only get you so far

I suppose the sign off depends ultimately on political will...approval could be fast tracked in literally hours if they wanted to..India are a net importer of hydrocarbons so why pay a premium for gas and oil if you can get untold amounts on the doorstep. I didn't think the election had anything to do with it but maybe a government not quite so friendly to Russia would be very interested in expediting home resources

It's the total news blackout that's causing the sells..people either need the funds or feel there are better opportunities elsewhere and the buys are pocket money territory. I can't bring myself to invest another penny but that was the case with Rolls-Royce between Oct 2020 and Feb 2023...I only bought shares because I was in the company share scheme..all we had was bad news getting worse and I was honestly thinking it was money down the drain...we thought that defence was going to be sold to BAe Systems and Civil to the highest bidder MG Rover style...how i now kick myself..I wish (now) I'd have invested every red bean I could find into RR they're up 4x on average and things are (now) looking amazing...jumping from one AIM share to another as you're down is the gamblers fallacy...they all have their problems and not all of the management speak the truth..I had £5k in horizonte minerals that I'd been steadily adding to over the past 2 years, today shares suspended and into administration. The AIM is a cesspit of people with hidden agendas and half truths

What gets me a little bit is that the company has used funds for non-esstentials...the pre-build of ore : not essential to the plant build : extension of the power line nice to have but not essential...

What we're they doing using the money stockpiling ore ? what we're they thinking in building a power line...all the money has gone down these nice to haves not the critical path...they could've used diesel gen sets for a couple of years now the money has all been spent on stuff not (really) needed

Yes, agree Gazza ...just like the entire AIM it's a coin flip..much better putting in a little evert month than usung your funds in one go
