SYN are no different to my other microcaps..they're all in wait mode or they wouldn't be microcaps and you wouldn't be able to buy 15 shares for a penny. If you want to see frustration over waiting times and total news blackout, go to the Hemo BB....most of the posts are name calling out of boredom as nothing else to talk about.

Another point to make is that SYN are no different to most of the other 10 small/microcap investments I have...all of them are wsiting on something or other..PXEN and BOIL in much the same boat as SYN (government approvals), PREM and JUBILEE waiting kit, HEMO waiting for trails to start, Atlantic waiting for the mine to be built...the list goes on but AIM shares are all in the same boat. All of them massive potential if the stars line up and all of them risky.

Indian bureaucracy is our problem. that said how long would it take to get approval for an onshore gas rig in the UK/EU...26 weeks? a year ? you have to think that domestically produced gas is best for all sorts of reasons including surity of supply but there are going to be at least 2 or 3 different government agencies who have to sign off...e.g. environmental, local government. I hope its done as expediously as possible so we're in wait mode.

I know, the Indians are a fricking nightmare...beurocracy overload. If they wanted to they could have this nailed in a few days

I hope the Germans haven't put them off and pray the bloody French don't pick our order up with the Rafael. The Germans have been an absolute liability pretending to be the good guys by stopping sales..the Saudis, the Turks etc are going to buy their weapons from someone it might as well be us

Partially, they sold ITP which makes the Spanish contribution of the EJ200 engine so RR Bristol make 25% or so, MTU 25% Germany and Avio 25% Italy...rough figures but you get the picture

I'm very wary of jumping in and out of my stocks..I didn't with my RR's I kept on buying when the news was dire..now I'm up. a simple pound cost every month and you collect more on the dips faultless. an awful lot of people on here have got an hidden agenda

Indeed Jonnyr, he could be under (multiple) NDA's that prevent him revealing the negotiations..we just have to sit back and go about our daily lives until we hopefully get a screamer of an RNS.

I'm invested to some point or another in 10 small or microcap companies and even with 10, RNS's are few and far between..all of them waiting for some big news and the ones that are issued are invariably about investor presentations or placings..never the one we 'need' so I can sympathise with the frustration if you're just in Hemo no news and red days day after day. one day though, my hope is we're going to get an RNS that good that I skip work and sit in the pub all day watching a fortune being made.

You're entitled to post what you like..I personally think it's totally clear we're in a news blackout and no amount of posts on here will change the situation. it was however partly this BB that persuaded me to invest in Hemo in the first place when I read about what Hemo was about. Had I seen post after post of negativity I'd have looked for another investment. one that struck me was a JHFH post saying Hemo's value was almost incalculable to a point 1p, 10p, 100p more and I think it still rings true and why I haven't sold.

We might have problems with the plant but the infrastructure is still there everything from the dam, the water supply, the gensets, the diggers and the rest of plant which hopefully will be fixed in 6 or 7 weeks' time. GR has done the right thing in stopping production and with a fair wind we might get to the 10th July without needing another placing. I'm still holding on and we're ticking upwards...

Hang on, you forgot about B52J and FLRAA...we also have ULTRAFAN as well which I understand has been prototyped in it's biggest variant (being easier to scale down than up)...oh and Power Systems as well.

Hi Daz, I'm not invested in Kod, I'm saying that primary resource extraction is harder than it seems. if KOD ship SC6 by the end of the year at nameplate capacity and within budget then hats off you/they deserve a multibag and I might have a tinkle myself
