Thanks bankboy. I'd already been there. Went back again and it's not until clicking on the 'show me more trades' link that the download button is shown.

I now have a spreadsheet full of the trades.

I wanted to have a look at these trades by downloading all of the GGP trades from today in a spreadsheet or whatever format and then being able to sort by size.

What I thought was going to be easy is testing my tired brain. Does anyone know where I can download all of todays GGP trades?

I've got more contemplating to do about this one!

My average price after three buys is 57p and I've been holding for 18 months. Including divis my total return is about 20% which I'm very pleased with. If it had lived up to expectations then it could or should have been more. This is no longer the IT that I invested in and therefore have no reason to hold on any longer.

However before the end of December this share is likely to trade xd for the 0.75p + 1.5p dividend and special respectively. How will the share price perform up to xd and what about afterwards?

The forward yield is then going to be 4 x 0.75p or ~ 5%. I think there's more risk here in holding than I want for a 5% yield. I appreciate that might be a minimum dividend but this is GSF so who knows.

RM and Saba may cause the share price to increase but an investment should not be based on wishful thinking.

I'll hold until the results on the 15th and make a decision before the end of the month.

It must be possible to do this on a small budget. Recent share price moves might mean GGP PIs could crowd fund this relatively easily.

I suspect a correction to the ASX closing price and then essentially a flatline to our 4.30pm close.

I've held BATS for 10+ years occasionally selling all and buying back lower. After watching the price climb through 4000, 4100 and 4200 I sold all on Monday 4th August at 4196 intending to buy back lower. I don't expect to get out at the top but somewhere close is good as long as there is a retrace. When the price promptly went back into the 4200's and then 4300's I thought that I'd blown it. Brokers were setting price target in the 4400's and the trend is most definitely upwards.

My decision to sell was helped buy the RSI indicating overbought and the MACD delta looking like it might go below zero. There is also time for this to retrace for my buy back before the next exdiv date which I expect will be at the end of September and is a target date for me to get back in by.

I agree with Rocka999's comments and feel for anyone who bought today at 4290 and above. I don't know why the sentiment changed here so abruptly but have seen it before. At this rate I will be buying back tomorrow, or it might just head up to 4300 again, who knows.

@Therosy1, I'm inclined to vote in a similar way. Maybe we need outsiders to make some changes and maybe changes are already underway. I'm just not sure about sticking with NEDs who have overseen a failure to deliver.

This is similar to Saba Capital and the Baillie Gifford ITs recently. I don't think outsiders would be welcomed or wanted by the majority of shareholders and the vote will echo this.

Would the two be replaced if they were to go and would that be from within, in which case where from, or from outside?

BP is undergoing a similar change of direction with Looney gone and Lund about to. Should or will GSF follow suit?

The fundamental issue with any UK power generation, storage, distribution, O&G production is the politicians and regulators. Hopefully for GSF the use of battery storage and deployment on the grid has a brighter future.

QuotedData’s head of investment company research, James Carthew, said: “Gore Street Energy Storage has completed its strategic review and set out a plan that looks to me as though it will enhance the NAV and boost dividend cover. Changing the board on the grounds that another strategic review is needed feels redundant, therefore. However, the main difference between the two sides is that the RM nominees seem focused on cashing up now, whereas the existing board sees greater upside in continuing to invest in a sector that has undeniable potential. Where I feel Gore Street’s statement is lacking is any mention of share buybacks as a means to narrowing the discount. I would have hoped that Gore Street would have weighed up the projected returns from upgrading existing assets and building out selected pre-construction projects against the impact of buybacks, but this morning’s statement doesn’t say that. This is the question that shareholders need answering before backing the existing board, but if the answer is yes, I would be minded to stick with the current directors.”
