Amidst all the comments directed at other posters on this board (not saying they're not deserved), has anybody noticed the 18.8% rise today. A leak perhaps ahead of positive news?

My broker has advised I've been allocated all the shares I applied for @18p. Only 25000 shares but happy to get them.

At a time when the share price is actually rising after a RNS, this board has headed in the opposite direction. For every comment that relates to the company, there are about 5 that are mud-slinging or similar posts directed at other posters. What is the point? I believe we are finally on track for better things but you wouldn't know it here. Can we not all agree to start on Monday with a new consensus on comments, aimed at sharing ideas and opinions on the company and not other people?

Not sure what it is that people are expecting from MB & team. They have discovered oil, obtained the necessary permits and licences from various (often obscure) national and local government bodies, extracted the oil, sold the oil and now received payment for the majority of the oil. There are other opportunities to increase production and significantly build upon the progress to date. All achieved in a country not known for its business friendly environment and benign weather conditions. I'm assuming all who post on here are invested in the company (?) but as a genuine lth, I'm happy with progress, appreciate it's taken longer than I would have liked, but would like to express my thanks for everything achieved to date.

I came on board last week and just doubled my holding to 5m shares this pm. Only share in my portfolio showing blue today so feeling v excited to be in surplus already. Seems a good board to be involved with. Thanks and GLA

Gord, I also started to wonder about the validity of the reasoning given for non-payment. If you send someone an invoice for $100k or whatever for x barrels of oil, it is up to the seller to ensure the invoice is correct. The purchaser pays the bill and takes title over the goods acquired. It's not up to the purchaser to query all the tax and customs issues, that is the responsibility of the vendor. Something not right here.

I've just checked in to see if any worthwhile news. Scrolling down for 2 pages all people are talking about is someone called adw who I think I blocked many months ago.

This significant acquisition was due to be completed by 1st May. It would be good to know if this was the case and the Company is planning with certainty that the deal is done. Caribbean island governments have been known to be obstructive.

There should have been an RNS to confirm this was happening or not. This is another example of poor communication that heightens distrust and impacts the SP.

I picked up another 100k this morning . Very content with my holding and avg price now sub 3p. Waiting for further news which should take me into profit.

JBT , it was Simon Potter's idea. He was Alan Burn's protege and was a highly respected oilman, although not the best of CEO's.

BPC did a similar listing back in the day. The same reasons were given, ie opening up the opportunity for US investors. Sadly it had little impact. Let's hope this is more successful.

Regarding the acquisition of T&T assets from CEG, what was the date of the RNS confirming all boxes have been ticked and the deal is progressing. The Feb RNS stated that such confirmations had to be in place "prior to end of April 2025", but I can't find any subsequent RNS saying everything has been cleared. Have I missed something?

Thornogson, the same happened with the Norwegian oil fields. I think it was Phillips who were persuaded to drill one final time and the rest is history.
