Thanks Gadgie, much appreciated. I'm currently in northern Laos on a SE Asia holiday. Just travelled on new railway from Vientiane, built by Chinese. The scale of Chinese influence here is truly remarkable. They are lending vast amounts to Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Thailand to fund new infrastructure and taking raw materials in part payment. Although Mongolia should be reducing any reliance on Russia, increasing its reliance on China is like frying pan into the fire. They need to be independent for oil requirements, hence I hope for an Indian or UAE investor as farm-in partner.

How can we translate please?

The news is all over the place already. If you Google "rare earth recycling " the A1 response specifically mentions the Tysley project , MKA and Hypromag!

MK, I agree. MB holds a significant number of shares in MATD, and I'm assuming his retirement plans are more dependent on us than Seascape.

Does today's announcement from Touchstone re successful drill in T& T Carapal Ridge-3 have any bearing on our rise?

If progress is maintained with 2 Nasdaq listings and other developments, we could expect to see MKA leave AIM in favour of the FTSE 250. Can't happen too soon!

This week, 4 shares that I hold, MKA, MATD, PRD and AVCT have all issued updates. All have been positive with no unforeseen bad news. Every share has fallen as a result, and BB's are awash with the "I told you so" theorists. It's a crazy world but in each company the fundamentals remain valid and were arguably enhanced by the updates. I'll continue to hold and add .....

Like me, Myles has holdings in both MKA and Avacta. The value of my shares in MKA has quadrupled since I read his research. Avacta has risen and fallen but I remain optimistic about growth in both companies. At the end of the day, people should make their own choices but I appreciate the research that Myles undertakes. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be here.

Dozzawba, I fully agree. Nobody does a good deal with the Chinese, most are done out of desperation or the lack of any alternatives. Let's hope the Indians or the Arabs are at the table, if only to force the Chinese to bid up to a fair price.

The sp was 8p when I read Myles' write up . I sold 50% at 18p and now wish I hadn't. I'm grateful to him for his research but at the end of the day I choose when to buy and when to sell.
