I am beginning to become concerned that this fuel panic could become the start of a contagion. There has been no fuel where I am since Friday. All three service stations are shut. Now we are beginning to see the effects as the building maintenance men have called off. The local bus services re under threat and the taxi's are struggling. The boy racers are history which is a blessing. They are sitting looking into their trousers to see if it is still there!!! I have always known given a strike by lorry drivers the country would collapse within a few days. Mr Scargill would have an orgasm....I tend not to panic however. It is just depressing... I am just glad I no longer own any trucks. Watching from the side lines is much better. Drivers have always been treated badly like their forebears the bargees. Enquest may be a good place to lay low for a while..
