HBOS put their notice out yesterday. There is no need to panic at the present time. This is ex dividend today so has dropped almost to the offer price . Will look at this on Monday but at the moment just enjoy the peace and quiet.

A year ago we were sitting at about 11p. In reality we have doubled the sp. It is just impatience that causes the ship to rock.

I always have a cunning plan. However I do not believe my investments are immune from outside influences . At the moment I am disallusioned with our leaders. Everywhere I look there is incompetance and stupidity. I know the virus has put immense pressure on government but when the hole gets too deep one should stop digging. I had made my money by the age of 40 and since then I have been forced to change my plan a few times. Still I fight on looking for the next barmy idea which is perhaps not so barmy as peeps think..

I too have been in the market for many years and rarely panic. I have been happy to hold this. In any event I am not sure what I would buy to replace it at present. I just see a market full of bland offerings. Fundementals usually prevail but I would ghave thought sentiment would be changing already with Enquest.

An announcement like that could put down below 20P!!

Dead horse?? I am beginning to think so. I really thought we would see 27-30p this year with oil prices at the current level. I am not greedy but not a charity either. Instead with out the occassional trade I would be sitting on a loss here after months of patience. I am at this moment looking critically at all my investments as I want to buy a new guitar and the seller has just dropped the price...I may need it for busking!!

On the 21st Oct I bought 10k of Bens Creek for 11.279p. Thought it might be a bit of fun and never was a long term hold but heyho the sp of a coal mine is now worth more than this. Sold out for enough profit to fill up the Skoda and now feel like a plonker!! Well I am honest and admit the error of my ways..

I have just checked Hbos and as yet I have received no notification. I have quite a lot of these but am a bit reluctant to add more as it beomes too many eggs in the basket. May well sit it out and if one of my Aims goes bolistic I may just add on the open market. I have no complaints with my ivestment so far...

Skoda.. I have one and I love it. It talks to me all the time. 'Take control of your car' The dashboard changes all the time and I have just discovered a new feature on the radio! The heated seats are fab and the tinted windows make me feel like a criminal.
It is an Eur 6 diesel and it turns in 65 to the gallon which is good as the price goes up past 1.50 a litre....Enquest is unloved but then so what. Its good to be a an odd ball

I added in late September. I am relaxed about soon getting regular dividends. Progress has been slowthough because of the supply problems and covid. Patience is the key..

I do not usually go foreign. I am a xenophobe. I have observed though on two occasions recently people arriving on the beach
at night. When I enquired if others have too I was informed they were extra lorry drivers. No problem then!!

I watched the news last night. I saw Greta and listened to the activists. Then I thought most of those interviewed will be 18 in a short while.Armed with the vote the politicians needs to be wary. As I wondered what would happen my attention turned to where all the hippies and flower power people went..Social media is the great unknown. To the older generation it is a mystery. One thing is certain our beloved leaders both nationally and world do not exude confidence to me.
