Overall as good an update as can be expected. My attention now is focused on other things. Yesterday I went into a small M and S and bought a few necessities. I was directed to the self service checkouts. Having not used one the assistant stood by a told me what to do. As I filled my bag two people just walked out of the door with overflowing baskets. The person helping me said was happening all the time. Today Madam Spin went into the local Iceland at 08.00 to buy food for her son and the customers were abusing the 18 year old girl because all the selves were empty. She was traumatised. Within a week law and order will the governments major pre occupation. Addictions are not rational and overwhelm those with them...I have considerable experience in this field and its frightening..

Cannot see any where to run to at the moment. Now it is all about survival and damage limitation. The Fed interest rate cut was like a damp Trump. I have a yellow flag to hoist from the mast and am off to sea today as the weather looks calm and cold. All my friends told me a few weeks ago I was over exaggerating the effect of this virus. I now realise I under estimated it. I am tempted to switch off and forget my portfolio for three months but I fear that will not be long enough for the smoke to clear.....GL all

Wondering which of my portfolio will turn blue first...I was in Diss Norfolk when I saw a tv in a shop and pictures of planes flying into the Twin Towers. Within minutes I was aware the world had changed. This has the potential to do the same. Can Trump afford his shalers all to go bust or will he get aggressive to relieve the pressure of his lamentable grasp of CV. He has to stabilise the market or he will be facing a huge revolt .. A very dangerous scenario now.

I sold out when I was 41 years. I played for about 5 years and then took semi retirement at the local council. I got a wonderful job working from home. I trundled about the county and enjoyed the Summers and hibernated in the Winter. Finally somebody a) Wondered who I was b) What I did and after investigation offered me a excellent package to call it a day. How I acquired Madam Spin I will save for another day.

You have no idea what measures I have taken. I have turned quite a lot of my portfolio into cash and can easily sit out anything as long as the banks and building societies stay afloat.
