I cannot see the fascination in a dividend until the sp improves . In the last year I have been chasing dividends on larger stocks because I want to close down at the end of March and take the Summer off without having to wonder if at the end of the day I am still solvent. It was quite satisfying today to finally put down two of my dogs which keep barking every time I look at my portfolio. Although here I am in overall profit at last it is because I have traded it and averaged down. As I buy in lots the ones I bought years ago still look quite sick.... It is nice though be be in a share that one believes in...

Though I have not held any Tullow because they are about the same size producer I have been watching it. It has really performed abysmally and the market cap has lost billions in value but investors keep throwing money at it. I watch PMO too but this is not a dog but still an indebted risk. Here we can spot the tankers and AB keeps buying so I invest in what can understand. Fingers crossed
