I really hope you are right. I have been too busy the last few days to take much interest in the markets. My mobile phone company took a load of money from my bank account. I rang them up to ask for it back but because my details did not match theirs they said they could not discuss. it. Instead they said their fraud department would contact me. Somebody purporting to be the fraud department rang up but they could not prove who they were so I declined to speak to them. Now it is all heading for the court. Such is life.. Perhaps Tullow shareholders should get the litigation on the go..

Overall I agree with your post except my kids are well able to look after themselves In a crisis they will know exactly what to do.
I fear there are many more like them and woe betide the idiots spouting off all sorts of promises and silly ideas. They risk being held to account. The world is currently run by old people who in 10 years will be in the old peoples home. Trumpet already shows signs of delusion and dementia..

I am practising my repertoire again as may need to go off and stand on a street corner.. My two favourites are 'Pity the poor immigrant' by Bob Dylan and 'Eve of Destruction' by Barry McGuire. Who needs 60p for a party..

The real money in my view is in electricity generation. The whole horizon where I am is windmills and for most of the time they twirl but on a day like today they stop. By using compressed air and water pumped back into empty wells when the wind blows energy can be stored. It is then possible to produced constant renewables. I am not sure if this will happen because our idiot leaders cannot even sort out a plastic bag solution. I am of the opinion until large numbers of our species sizzle or drown they will do nothing. Hopefully though a few of the species might survive but if they act in time.

This week has gone much as I expected. A bit of optimism followed by all sorts of speculation as to why nothing much happened.
At least the update clarified a few things. The whole horizon where I live is now sprouting windmills. Wind farm boats are flying in all directions and underground cables are being buried all over the place. There will be a place for oil for a long time but it feels at the moment like when Mrs T wiped the miners. I am still of the opinion that to hold Enquest is by far the best policy but to try a predict how long it will take to see a return is impossible. Only 20 days now and will be able to witness the next debacle .. That to is impossible to predict. At least this week I have learnt that it is unwise to go for pizzas.

Quite a few long term holders here have been screwed today yet again. The fall which is equivalent to three quarterly dividends has been knocked from the sp in order that a few flush mates can buy in at a discount. Then whats new in share investing
