hi pompey. glad you had good results.
i see that enthusiasts have focused on the M&A part in the NED’s description,
which is understandable if you are someone who believes that this company
may become involved with RTOs etc. — from a more sceptical perspective,
i think quite possible that AIM regulation / prospective nomad required that
they appoint someone like him, to try to improve EUA’s history of shoddy
governance. if so, positively that should help make it more likely they will be
allowed to resume eventually, but still begs the question of what company’s
assets are really worth, and in particular if they are actually going to dispose
of any, & for how much, rather than make some kind of merger or acquisition.
my own view remains, as stated before, that i do believe there is a genuine
underlying business at EAU, but i am pretty sceptical of the valuations being
bandied about, & i think they still have a lot of explaining/‘clarifying’ to do.
