1. to my way of thinking, it’s a bit odd to claim that it’s pointless trying to work out whether a loss-making company without a steady income stream does or doesn’t have a flexible loan facility already lined up in to provide optionality for financing

2. if someone genuinely believes that an AIM-listed resource company is not providing enough financial information to make at least some rough estimates of cash remaining, cash burn, and pending financing needs, then that is a pretty big red flag imv … just ‘investing’ blindly with a wet finger stuck in the air if one genuinely believes company isn’t providing sufficient transparent data on such.

it was interesting to me that crypto thinks he has seen confirmation somewhere that the loan facility does remain available, however really still leaves uncertainty since crypto couldn’t recall where he may have seen that.

Del, i think you may misunderstand my question. i wasn’t asking if there is a loan currently in place, rather, is there an agreed facility in place to take out loan again if needed? (see crypto 08:04, tho’ he doesn’t provide source.)

(I do trade a bit, but generally on large cap main market stuff which I am following because I tend to have significant (well, for me) longer term positions in those stocks, and it can be productive for me to trade and hedge a small amount around those larger positions … e.g. in shares like AV, AZN, SSE, PRU, PHNX, MNG, Shell, Rio …. my secret shameful punting share, where I allow myself to trade back and forth, long and short is palantir … but that is very much the odd one out for me, weird and wacky swings and who on earth really understands how to value such AI stocks in the longer term!!

I consider EUA univestable in terms of underlying value. there’s obviously some money to be made, or lost, in the meantime by peeps attempting to do short term trades on s/p swings fuelled by sentiment and chatter, but that’s just not a game I like to play with this or indeed other companies.

… i recall that they said they weren’t *using* it any more, but that leaves it a trifle vague whether that agreement is now entirely terminated or whether it is still in place but with no funds currently drawn down. … potentially relevant to how hard a bargain potential finders could try to strike over a future placing price.
