the only US ‘iis’ showing interest were the bucket shop customers who forward sold their placing shares to take a 15-20% flip … same reason some US bucket shop customers also bought and forward sold the 26p placing shares.

there is no evidence that any genuine US institutional investors give a darn about EUA. (imv, bucket shop placing flippers don’t count as genuine iis).

me, i don’t care one way or the other about jub capital — i presume they were adults who made their own decisions, they gambled, they lost, so tough t*tty.

Kammy, they did need to raise (either via equity or loan) before the end of summer, otherwise they would have been unable to get accounts signed off as going concern and they would have lost their london listing.

they have bought themselves more time which is obviously better than suspension/delisting, but this company still does **nothing at all to bring in any money**, and they have **ongoing cashburn** —-> so the need to fundraise is just pushed down the road again, rather than banished. simple issue.

unless they start mining profitably, or sell their assets, they will need to keep on raising … until we see next accounts, hard to say when, but at a very, very rough finger in the air guess, i’d current suggest circa nov ‘25-jan ‘26.

It has been quite entertaining watching so many rampers who used to argue that EUA would not do a placing now queuing up to claim what a marvellous masterstroke the BoD has performed by making this dilutive equity placing (… rather than actually mining, selling mine products, selling assets, etc…)

Well worth remembering too, that EUA weren’t able to fix their cash crunch by selling off that existing concentrate sandpile, and EUA still ain’t mining.

if they were able to sell the concentrate for a significant amount, then it would have made no sense to do a dilutive equity raise instead.

& if they keep running low on cash, but owned an operation mine that actually made money, it would make no sense to keep it mothballed.

as i’ve said, i do think it is better news for EUA that they got the placing done now rather than failing to arrange one at all, or leaving it to the very last minute, and i also think they were relatively lucky to get that share price too ( - given my view on underlying value - ), and it’s good that they don’t have to stay in thrall to sanderson leaching them again in the near term.

But it’s also worth thinking about what has not changed, and how this story stock game is being played.

( … as that’s all this company is, in view … a business with poor quality underlying assets that no-one wants to buy for anything other than a nugatory price, that is mining nothing because it actually loses money whenever it tries to mine, etc etc. … the EUA share price is simply an ongoing speculative trading bubble, imv, buoyed up by ‘stories’ to ramp in fresh pi meat to the grinder rather than generate genuine fundamental value, cash flow and profit).

In some ways, this is good news for the company … it should allow the auditors to rate them as a going concern for the next year, it allows them cheaper funding than the extortionate sanderson wonga loan, it allows the directors to collect backpay and perks and keep on with their lovely lifestyle company, & the trump / ukraine pump over the last few months means they’ve got the placing away at a relatively good price.

Well, i predicted EUA needed to try to raise in feb / march, to avoid running out of cash in the summer and being at the mercy of very harsh terms from lenders etc. various rampers kept arguing that EUA would not need to raise any funds, as it had loads of cash, or had an imminent sale deal lined, or could just sell its concentrate for many millions, etc etc. … turns out they were wrong, and i was right.

What does intrigue me is just how many pis do still seem to have recent/ongoing direct comms with amit … given the history here, it astounds me that people are still willing to enter into any kind of dialogue at all with him directly, rather than through legals — how on earth are any pis still taking anything he says remotely seriously??

i’ve commented before that i don’t see why anyone should believe that previous claim that the ‘book was closed’, & I’ve also said that i think the idea of amit still trying to sell more shares seems more plausible to me than amit trying to make the slowest getaway in history …
