Agreed TL. A takeover by an international company with the ability to market and sell product would make IQE irresistible. They have great tech and world leading products plus IP, but they just don't know how to sell. Takeover soon please.

Yes it seems to be steady today so perhaps the bottom has been finally reached. It leaves the rest of the week to prove this but today at least there have been more buys than sells. Onward and upward lets hope.

Being dragged down by the market fears of recession in the US. Is there nothing to help this stock recover ?

I can't see this doing well tomorrow if the numbers are much the same as 2018. Looks like the sellers are getting out before the news. There may also be fresh shorts opening. We're already 2% down on top of the big fall yesterday. Wheres this second RNS that was talked about?

Theres price movement now so it seems to be back trading. Though as mentioned I managed to get quotes earlier, but all at the same buy price of 87.55. Anybody know what's going on ?

I think there's a good chance they'll get the 90% this time round. My concern is the valuation of there new group and the number of shares in circulation. On the ATC board there have been figures ranging between 7 billion and 12 billion shares. If DAN holders are to get 10% of the new group then this has a big effect on the number of shares we will be able to convert from our shares into the new group. Any thoughts on this? I know there is a DSS general meeting on Monday 25th March to ratify if they get the approval of the 90% take up.

Yeah, looks like the sell off before report has started. Let's just hope some people can see value here and get in.

Its quite common to see a rise in SP on anticipation running up to a report and then a sell off a couple of days beforehand. I believe this RNS was intended to stem the potential of a large sell off but I'm not sure its helped that much. Whats the general consensus on the Stockopedia estimates for the report ?

I think the RNS is very positive, but why the drop in SP ? Seemed to rise on the news yet now we're sitting in the 88's. Not giving me a good feeling for the next couple of days.

Ah I got my info from the Hargreaves Lansdown CEY page. LSE Financial Diary page also has the Ex divi date as 18.4.19. Let's get a confirmation. Don't want to mess this one up !

At present DSS holders are not being offered a choice in the matter. It's a reverse takeover and as such the current ATC holders are being asked to accept the offer. There's been no communication by my broker to shed any light on the situation and as such the only option we DSS holders have is to sit and wait. Hopefully if ATC gets its 90% take up on the offer, then the takeover will be unconditionally accepted and we should then be 10% holders in the new ACG group. Hope this helps.

Willowman. Ex Dividend date 18.4.19. Payment date 13.5.19. A long way off I'm afraid.

Gold's up today quite nicely. 1308 as I write, yet no effect on SP. Surely this will break out at some point soon.
