Aye Ken. Thats the problem with following a strategy. You end up waiting for a low entry point but miss out on the minor ups and downs. Talking of downs Billy, just dipped into the 294s again. I'm tempted.....

I notice Trump's not going to meet Xi Jinping before the 1st March tariff deadline kicks in. A number of stocks I'm looking at are on the drop. Reckon we're heading for a market fall. Glenda will probably take a bashing from the Yanks this afternoon. All the miners are off yet copper is holding well at 2.825, which is a surprise given the tariff nonsense around the corner. Looking to jump back in around 293 but fek knows where this will go.

Know how you feel Ken. Itchy fingers till close but decided to save the ammo for tomorrow at least. Will be gutted if it rises but this is due a fall like the good old days in December and January !!

Right, now how much further is this falling. Reckon this'll finish below 297. Glenda's the biggest faller out of the miners, yet copper is still around 2.83-4.

Nice to see this crack the 80s. Just seen an 80.25 briefly and 7.5% up. Lets hope this run continues and finishes above 80 today.

Thanks Ken. I always look at the recent range and work out the average then try and buy at least 15-20% below that average. I avoid getting sucked into a rising SP only to see it collapse the next day. Its a strategy I've got to stick too. Lost too much in the past. Having said that all miners on the bounce at the moment. So will still tight with that musket )

Cheers Tom. I'm killing the bots I set yesterday as this goes down and managing to catch lower prices. Only buying 1-3k at a time though to hedge against further downs in the coming days. Placed three trades in the last 30mins and this is certainly a good entry point.

Got some more at 288.94. Agreed Redtom I can see this lower towards the end of the session. Also don't know if tomorrows Brexit vote will drop the SP. It didn't last time so will have to see on this one.

Bought a 290.50. Waiting to put more in lower now. With copper falling and US lifting sanctions on Rusal, the world's largest aluminium producer other metals are dropping too.

Gold up but CEY tanking today. Looks like pre vote jitters to me. I see gold continuing its current rise but where do we see this SP tomorrow?

I sold up on Friday and am all in cash re Glenda. Sold at an average of 297 but nursing a break even of 326. I feel I don't want to be pulled down any further in the impending storm. There should be a good chance of picking up more shares at a lower price later this week, but the SP is wobbling nervously in positive territory at the moment. I hope I've made the right decision, but is there anyone else out there also considering this also?

I'm holding at the moment and currently sitting on a loss. Though I'm considering selling ahead of this vote to avoid being carried down further. Personally I just can't take more losses. Is there anybody out there also considering this and being in cash before the storm?

Agreed Farruggia. With some positivity coming out of the talks in Beijing lifting global markets across the board it should help to put some wind in IQE's sails. I know we don't want to be too tied to Apple's fortunes but if the trade war gets resolved then Apple should be able to sell more in China, boosting the SP's of their many hard done to suppliers.

Looks like she finished well today. Lets hope this continues through Monday and Tuesday when there will be talks in Beijing over the trade war. Markets seemed to have liked the noises so far. Did my pub last night, hence the hangover! But I'll be heading for the fridge and the cans therein shortly for a mini celebration )
