This has to be the ride up to the report on the 20th March, with a little bit of market sentiment re the US-China talks. But IQE's 8-9% rise today far exceeds most on the market. Not just today either as Friday's rise was in the region of 7.5% and on the up for the last 3 weeks or so. Lets see some institutions get in on this.

I'm with you Billy on those numbers. I feel a range of about 302 - 312, but with metals all negative at the moment 298 could be the next opportunity. Sentiment seems to br riding on the US-China talks with the wave seemingly to continue for the next few days. Gold for instance has tanked from 1332 towards the end of last week to 1287 now. So it seems it risk on for the time being.

This is running away with itself again! Up 6% at the moment and no sign of stopping I just topped up in the 94s. tried to get 94.13 and within seconds it was 94.8. When is this RNS coming out that everyones talking about. Farruggia ?

Really low volumes today hence this boring tight range of 303 to 306s. Nothing happening so gonna wait till Monday for a bit of movement. Its Flat Friday )

Went up to 305 so I thought bu:ger this, I'll wait for tomorrow. Looking for sub 300 now with a possible 298 but who knows. Red day all round and even copper a tad negative so could well be a freaky Friday )

It sat fro a long time at 89 then when US markets opened it bounced up to 92 quite dramatically. If this movement continues where will it end up?

Centamin currently $1.30 on the US markets. 25.29% drop. Which roughly equates to .9936 pence.

Yes indeed. I've got a good feeling about this positive movement up. Sold a tranche at 81 and bought more at 80. Don't know quite what's going on with IQE at the moment, but there's something in the air. ATB

Point taken Ken. The way I look at it, when equities are doing well then gold usually takes a hit, but as gold is holding and marginally up at close I got itchy fingers. Hope it's not FOMO though. Have a good flight by the way, and look forward to the sun, sand, and the booze ! ATB )

Back into CEY. Golds holding well despite the positive noises coming out of US-China negotiations. Think this one may have more to go. If gold hits 1340-50 it should fly.

Interesting. If that 700000 was a short then it hasn't really effected the SP. The two blips on my chart has the SP coming straight back to the 80s after the drops. Either very strange, or very positive.

Noticed a couple of big drops down to 76.30. It happened twice in the last hour to the same price. Has anyone noticed any big sells?

Yeah might well be a server issues then. If that's the case then HL or iii can't really fix it at their end and they'll just keep fobbing us off in the meantime. The bu;ger is that if you don't keep refreshing your page then you can easily miss the trade as I've done a couple of times this week. Needs to be fixed pronto.

Ken I've been having the same problem for days. I run two iMacs and and both have the issue, but the older on can take a couple of hour to get into the secure number page. It's totally random and swapping browsers doesn't help either. Any heads up on this would be a great help if anyone can find a cure. ATB

Well I've just popped back in for a small amount. The SP seems high but we've had 5 days of rises and the 80s are holding well. I've a feeling somethings in the pipeline and that this could go further rather than a fall back to the 70 mark. The report day is still a way off but there could be a steady rise in the following weeks. ATB.
