MickR, good post but I would just say that Newmont aren’t “farmed in”. If you read the RNS, in effect all they have done is bought 19.99% of the shares (don’t get me wrong that’s great), but that’s it. Any farm in is subject to qualifying spends over multiple years, which won’t happen until post drilling. As it stands (granted massivly unlikely) they could just walk with 29mil shares, sell into the market and go. Just imo for balance, or have I misread the RNS?

We are NOT yet in a JV for clarity. As it stands we have Newmont who spent £2mil on 29mil shares. That’s it. Nothing else. Read the RNS qualifying spends on phases 1-3 is needed, and then, and only then, post phase one may Newmont elect to come on board.

MP your speculating other “competitors” were there. We don’t know that. They can still walk, remember that. All they have at the min is 29mil shares. That’s it. Which they can sell after 4 months. Looking good I agree, but a bit of balance every now and again is good

Let’s not get carried away they are having to find within a 4-10 year time frame before any of that, and we don’t have drilling yet. The rise will come upon drilling commencement. If they don’t find anything spectacular Newmont can walk, and sell shares after 4 months. I agree potential is phenomenal but there is also a reality check. As they say walk before you run

We won’t be at a 20mil mcap short term imo, we have a business that makes no money and Newmont on board but no drilling as yet. Where are we going to get 5 bag from short term? Not a moan just a genuine question. We won’t be doing it on “potential” but this is aim

MP your misleading slightly. The 29mil was from a private placing ie extra shares not a purchase on the open market of 29mil. Just to clarify that for new investors :-)

Rob, to a certain extent I agree but it’s not moving every second, it’s been NT for long periods, and even when you look at L2 and L3, and MM position, it’s odd imo. Being played and a day traders dream for now I think. Look at yesterday high and where we ended up PM.

Jimmy, it’s hit and miss. You’ll get a quote one min and 30 sec later will be NT

All this no shares available. You can’t sell, and you can’t buy half the time. They are playing this. If they needed shares you’d be able sell handfuls all day long, rather than constant NT on buy and sells and bid and ask moving up and down like a yo-yo

Problem is you’ll get locked in and they can drop the bid so quickly as we’ve seen so you could easily be in profit one min locked in can’t sell as they won’t let you, then a heavy loss the next!

Is nt to buy and sell, it’s being walked up then walked down by MMs. Be careful you could get locked in. It’s very volitile and if you wanted to sell you run the risk of being locked in (or out), just like yesterday
