John, lol, when am I talking it down? Read the posts, I’m simply stating the current state of play, with the black and white facts from the rns. Hardly a great investment strategy de ramping your own share...really. I think your reading the posts out of context.

I assume you moved out of bpc ;-) As ever all DYOR new investors and be mindful of agendas. Seen it many times and been bitten many.

I’m not taking anything away from the excellent RNS, believe me, and I apologise if that’s how it comes over. I am invested here for the same reasons as we all are, but I get rather frustrated at certain individuals misleading ramps with incorrect facts, which only misleads new and inexperienced investors. MP, Degsy, across all boards ramping the hell with rainbow versions of facts, then disappear (like on bpc). As I say, a wonderful RNS and hugely postive for the future, and to have Newmont is nothing to be over looked. That’s not my point, my point was clarity of the exact deal and rns. That’s all

MP. My point is, they are not farmed in or in a JV. Specsavers does await correct.....they have private placement shares only at this stage. Shall we visit together? They have NOT taken 75% ownership. Stop misleading people. Read the RNS. They have an OPTION based on spending as per my post below. Tell me, can they not sell their shares after 4 months, and if they don’t add their $30 over phase 1 and 2, AND.... To secure a majority stake in the project, however, the US miner would have to spend $30-million over 12 years, complet a National Instrument 43-101-compliant feasibility study and make $4 million in cash payment None of which is done yet (today!). So no, I do not need to visit specsavers it’s the dyslexia of others that’s the issue.

John, FYI I hold significant sums here and bought in yesterday and topped up today. Honestly I’m not “de ramping” it’s just balancing the facts and reality, and assessing risks. All about good investments and decision making my friend if you want to make money on the roulette of aim ;-)

MickR, it is not. It’s a POTENTIAL farm in, IF options and conditions are met which is driven by Newmont. I’m not saying it’s not the real deal, but we just need to remember they aren’t farm in or JV, and can walk. Until they take up options over two years on phase 1, that’s when the fun begins. For now it’s still a bit of hype BUT incredible potential, that I do agree Mick

Omg4, exactly my point, thus they aren’t “farmed in”. They are speculating for the potential IF they want to come on board imo. Yes there intention is clear, buying 19.99% of the company and agreeing to have an OPTION to farm in IF they so wish, but we all just need to beware that they are not in any form or farm in/JV with OMI at this stage. Take nothing away from the recent news and the undervaluation of the company, and this will rise but I would like to see a date for drilling or at least more clarity
