End of the day in a court of law you have to have a good reason to grant a few more days past a legal deadline, if not it makes a mockery of the whole system. I have a feeling the knife is about to be well and truly stuck in on the 28th.

CF73.... Somehow with $56mil at stake I dont think Hope would fail to at least give some form of defense or have very good legal reasons for being granted an extension. I think we just need to stop hoping and start looking at reality. Would we not hope for an update post the 28th as in full defence filed? Imo he has been given an extension pending more evidence coming forward which is material evidence that for one reason for another could not be issued by the 18th. This is the only reason a judge would grant an extension imo

I think we are now really clutching at straws with respect. Zaza needs to advise what the feck is actually going on. However you tart it up, and hope (excuse the pun), it’s not looking good now :-(

The only reason I can think a judge would extend hops defense is if he is seeking to add material and substantial evidence than can not be gained by the 18th. It’s usual the lawyers would speak in chambers to the judge declaring (privileged) what evidence they are seeking, and if it is likely to have a material effect on the outcome it’s highly likely the judge would grant a few extra days. That’s what my brother who is a lawyer believes anyway. Don’t think it should looking good sadly

I would imagine that if your appealing it’s only legally correct to reinstate the injunction until after appeal. I don’t think the judge has reinstated the injunction for any other reason that FRR appealing given repercussions if they won the appeal

Having to appeal injunction however is not where you want to be if you want a watertight case imo
