Remember, technicals (charts, RSI etc) are trumped by fundamentals (news). There is news - the company is no longer failing, that fact trumps chart / RSI analysis. When things stabilise with dish, use technicals to inform your decisions, not dictate them.

Indicators > search for and add RSI

It will show current RSI at 45, but this is calculated per minute. I'm not sure what the default calculation period is when people discuss RSI, but changing it to a few hours takes it up to 80-ish.

Change the calculation period near the top left-hand corner (drop down time picker)

It dropped so heavily because it looked as though the company was failing rather than just under-performing. The strategy change + new team are already showing that there's been a turnaround. IMO, the share price is mid-recovery from the expectation of failure to one reflective of a company with potential. You might get lucky deciding to wait out this correction upwards, but at some point you have to accept risk.

I think mapping +100 restaurants to +1p on the share price is a good (pessimistic) guide. Plenty of gain ahead. Don't wait too long.

+RT. Your point #2 is one of the reasons I've been topping up. Why retain Sanj unless his work with chains is showing some promise?

Brighton and Birmingham demonstrate how quickly numbers can be ramped up to 40+. They both launched with low single figure counts. Manchester can follow the same pattern. Very exciting to see new additions in London too - it had been ignored around the 25 level for too long. Let's hope this is the start of a serious Birmingham / Brighton style ramp-up. If we can get 40+ in Brighton, then imagine what we can get in London. Leicester is +1 too. Activity on multiple fronts allowing a little guarded optimism. Come on Dish, this is your last chance to get it right. 300 by Feb please and this can still be something very special indeed!

Revenue is low at 200 restaurants because nobody knows about the service. If 3000 restaurants across the country were added, then word of mouth and marketing would make the scaling of this far from linear. You can't directly map current revenue to 3000+ levels.

There's no reason why a restaurant can't be a TableNow member and also on the BigDish platform. It'll take a bit of extra admin on the part of the restaurant, as one service will affect table availability for the other, but it would be manageable and beneficial for them. Tom already has a relationship with many potential bigdish venues, perhaps a bulk sign-up is in the offing. Apologies for the rampy nature of that, just getting a bit excited about prospects.

Low revenue is expected. In an extreme case a stock could lose half its value if bad results are unexpected, or perhaps an accounting error is discovered. No reason to think that will happen here. Poor results are already priced in.

Don't worry, it's just topazfrenzy on ADVFN. He's like an extreme version of our own ramper/deramper, RT.

We're *expecting* poor figures due to poor performance signing up restaurants + little or no customer marketing to get people using the app. The share price is already low because of this low revenue / poor performance. Releasing the interim figures, confirming revenue is low, should only send the share price down if it's contrary to market expectation, which it isn't. If the news is released with good news about the telesales operation, then the share price should remain stable or even climb.

RT, I agree they've made a dog's dinner of this so far. The main difference between your position and mine is that I think these mistakes have been priced in. Sure, the share price could drift lower with inactivity, but the mistakes you mention have happened and had their impact already. Dish have responded by changing their model (booking more days out / premium / different discounts etc) and their acquisition approach (telesales). Remember, most companies face early issues, but most don't float this early. We get to see them flailing around in their early stages looking for the correct direction and invest for pennies instead of £s further down the line. I think this has a great chance of success if they stop dithering and navel gazing.

Perhaps you and I should run the company instead :)

If we manage the same penetration in London as we have in Brighton, then that equals:
653 (based on Tripadvisor number comparison)
1127 (based on population ratio)

Either of those would be great. Not achievable by one TM of course.

RT describes the Brighton effort as 'absolutely shameful'. However, I suspect he'd be back in and ramping(again) if London gets anywhere near those numbers.

Spero is Latin for 'I hope'. Not a very good investment strategy, but certainly required in some small measure here. A BigDish investment is a little risky, but risk brings the potential for reward.

Sam, imagine the following
* Greater Manchester (location of the telesales team) goes live soon and ramps up at Birmingham pace.
* Brighton TM (who recently grew Brighton from a stagnant 5 to 38) transfers to London and grows it from 25 to 200+
* Leeds, Glasgow etc quickly follow.* A small chain is added, giving other chains the confidence to take the step onto the platform.

All of this is possible within the short term. If any one of them happens then the share price is going to move up quickly, and you will never see these low prices again. If none of them happen, then it could go to £0. No one can guarantee the bottom for you. Treat recommendations from strangers with suspicion (including this one) - they may simply be trying to top up at a lower price. Read all the data/info you can and make the decision based on your own research.  It's a bit of a gamble at the moment, but I'm in as I too like the concept.

Come on BigDish, give the Brighton TM a payrise and move them to London!

206 today. Still slowly growing with the door-knocking / hand-shaking approach in the small number of locations. We're going to need more locations to come online soon, ready for the telesales team. Greater Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh etc would be nice to see. Looking forward to the day when we don't have named locations and we just have postcode search / radius instead.
