Hi Etank. I am of the opinion that a deal that has the potential to deliver £100mil/yr to our coffers should be repeated as much as possible and please do not refer to the deal making as "juvenile". Talk of our present BODs and management bringing KM up to a working mine is a bit fanciful, the skill set is not there nor is the nearly £1billion CAPEX required. Hi Dimvestor. Congrats on the house purchase and the 12x profits here. As with all investment decisions timing is all important. My money however is on a much higher price for GGP come the spring 2021 and a lower house price when the stamp duty holiday ends. The NRR deal should work out to be good but not good enough on its own to raise the approx £1billion CAPEX. I am of the opinion that AMC will not be taking K.M. into production. Hi Badger. Best to reinvest your NSandI savings sooner rather than latter. Inflation is a real problem, gov figs are wrong. compare what your yearly overheads are this year to last year. Saving in cash @1% is losing you money and gold is up 28% in the last year. Gold Britannias/Sovreigns are by far the best in hand investment for UK tax payers. When buying watch out for the premium a 4% above spot is acceptable. That offer from Atkinsons is good with a premium of about 3.5%. Please use insured vault storage. Hi All. Total world negative yielding debt is now $17trillion. That is a sum that is almost impossible to imagine. Any doubts about the direction for the POG/S is now totally unfounded and is only to the upside. The bullion banks will try to stem the rise but will fail. Hi All. Sasas view is that NPV should be circa 80p, so why would the MMs be holding the SP down by a few 10ths of a penny. I do not think there is a buyer in the background. I am of the opinion that the SP is where it is because the banks will not touch this with a barge pole. The best we can expect is to accept a low ball offer from Russian based co with links to Mr P. Hi Mushy. Glad to hear your move to Portugal is going to plan. I was going to apply for Spanish residency to enjoy my home in Tenerife. After doing my research i found many reasons not to. The main one being tax reasons, the Spanish tax man wanted 19% of my UK house sale. Another reason was the closing of my UK bank acct and tax on investments. I am not sure about Portugese tax law but you may want to look into the ramifications of residency there concerning your investment in GGP. Good luck. ATB Speedy
