Totally agree, shocked how the maker are treating YU as they are going to benefit significantly from this sector blip.

YU have been very clear they are unaffected by this worldwide energy issue, they are full hedged and back to back hedge.

So with less competition YU will gain organically and also I will be shocked if they are no bidding in SOLR for CNG/ AMpower and MA energy

Had my eye on this lot for some time, 41,000 SMEs real shame the shipping side caused the business side to fail , now in SOLR are 2 x SME focussed , now they should goto an SME specialist like YU.

Will YU renter the SOLR process because in my opinion a B2B specialist should get the book but this is OFGEM who seem to give everything to the big 6. 99% certain YU will not get a look in as the 100m turnover client book was profitable and would have been a good bolt on tripling YUs clients to over 60k and they have the infrastructure to handle it. But new contracts will be required so I expect a lot of interest in the SOLR for this book.therefore YU will be over looked by OFGEM as they seem to be driving the sector to the big 6 again which is terrible from an independent organisation taking away so much competition. Heads should roll at OFGEM

Either way YU will reap some clients and I do have my eye on MA energy.

So we have 50,000 B2B direct clients and 18 suppliers like good energy who has already found a new bulk supplier.

We are in very interesting times, the suspense is building as I feel we are about to have a major transformational period changing the landscape big time in the B2B energy supply area

1. How much to buy the book
2. Does the hedge come across or would they have to get new contracts at current spot rate.
3. Types of business ie high or low risk sectors
4. Individual risk profile per client

If YU are looking they would have gone through the books to work out an offer I personally think it would not be much, Bristol was a net 920k for 4000. In the current climate CNG would get no where near £9m if same metric. Depends on the 4 factors above.

Indeed jackhammers, deep breaths needed at the moment , dragged down so much on very little volume. I suppose if some news broke on an acquisition the boosters would be heavily turbo charged due to the hard fall on next to no volume.

I cannot believe how our SP is reacting just shows most Investors have no clue.

DOMESTIC and price cap is the big issue plaguing the sector CNG has been brought to it knees by the likes of Avro.

Smartest is B2B from what I can see not DOMESTIC a and it is due to people not understand there is a huge difference
