Happens every time , before we know it all gains gone again. No one invests anymore.

I have been frustrated for years as we all know the SP should a multiple of what it currently is but even today you have a few sellers ? Why the hell sell as this isn’t a stock to trade as so tightly held and small free float.

The problem is every investors wants the next ASOS or ARB and wants it now and doesn’t want to wait one, two or three year this is for institutions but alas not many IIs invest in suck low market cap AIM stocks, so it is chicken and egg

1. Need a higher market cap 50 to 100 m
2. Profitable
3. Bruce bonus pays a dividend

This is YUs dilemma , one day it will explode and not stop

Totally agree but BK already owns 53%

But nothing to stop the rest of the board lie, the new digital transformation guys but with so much going on they may not be allowed to

Just checked and YU have between 0.15 to 0.2% market share

So actually the mutualisation costs going forward is a red herring as so low and will be recouped eventually.

Mutualisation yes you are correct but this simply gets added to bills and YUs market share is so small the impact negligible

So if the fund is 500m and YUs market share is 0.1 it costs YU 50k

Let’s step it up a bit to 1b still only 100k or 0.2% market share 200k on 1b

The numbers are small in the scheme of things but the important bit is it will get recouped through billing

Indeed the due diligence from OFGEM would have been second to none.

So a massive endorsement for YU going forward

Pozitive got CNG and smartest got MA energy

Can’t complain , excellent result for YU and Pozitive not well liked on trustpilot so we may get some of those clients anyway

Can’t see e YU being a take over target to well protected by BKs holding, but what I can see is YU and smartest business energy merging

They both use smartest and with the YU digitisation coming along nicely ready for Q1 in sprints for me it is a no brainer for both YU and smartest.

This would add another 100m turnover company onto YUs books

Do the maths and will not take long to hit 500m turnover the rate we are moving forward

YU is long term hold and if you hold this will be many multiples of current Sp in the next 2 to 3 years

Remember this was valued at 1200p per share prior to the crash in 2018, since then no dilution , a company reset, new management board and a very strong company who’s turnover and profit is far in excess of the 2018 valuation.

Customer numbers have quadrupled alone and they are also investing in a digital revolution which should start to come live in Q1 2022 driving down gross margins and increasing net margin.

YU will be a hot stock of 2022/23

YU. Has always been a long term hold for me as personally can see this being a solid cash cow over the years paying very sweet dividend once growth stagnates.

But we are along way form there and next year can see 200 to 250m turnover, crunch the number on that and we get a very sweet net profit margin.

People forget our market cap is only 35m, no debt, cash rich and growing extremely fast.

We are so under valued by the market it is criminal we should be 500p now on fundamentals along never mind the future potential

I do not disagree, OFGEM have given a huge endorsement to the YU business model and that they are a safe realisable well respected comp any otherwise if poor and issues around solvancey they would not have been awarded

We all knew this anyway, the question is can they take on the likes of CNG at this stage , I believe yes but this is for OFGEM to decide. As a huge step up in numbers and would take YU to close to 80,000 clients and turnover of over 300m per annum

Quick maths

Turnover now will be way over 200m next year if not higher as they take on more clients organically

Profit this year of xxxx I reckon 2 to 3m

Next year could be 5 to 6 million finger in the air guessing

I saw the bit about a few domestic, sad,yes this was probably the deal to get the client book, it isn’t many

I am hoping MA energy will be next to head to YU, CNG is bloody big so never been confident YU would get that book, but you never know

Underlying trading remains strong as reported at the half year results with the Group continuing to drive profitable growth.

And testament to YU that OFGeM have awarded these 8148 customers to YU.
