Solid performance and far better than I expected the £1m profit was a surprise as expected lower H1.

This is a long term multibagger and I fully expect more IIs to come on board over time

They weathered COVID and navigating this energy crisis with no impact - outstanding

They are obviously on the prowl for prey but very selective due to outstanding discipline which is to be admired.

Always the same on results, YU have never been stronger and business is booming

Totally agree MK the market cap is just silly, we have already carved out a £1m profit and more to come by year end putting the company on a PE around 10 to 15.

Industry average is 30 ish I believe and we would be way below that and growing profitably at the speed of a tech start up.

Can’t wait to see the revised broker note as I expect a material up lift across the board with a price target way above the current 500p

So H2 has started extremely strong

Could be looking at a significant FY profit say £3m + and puts us on a PE of 12 for 2022

Yep CNG looks interesting turnover 2020 on the SMEs was £67m so a lot of small SMEs it was heavily impacted by C19.

CNG interest me at the moment as reported on sky news 46,000 SME clients as they break up the company into pieces.

Looks to me they are taking big hits on natural gas as the main business is wholesale natural gas and they turnover 500m the B2B side is 67m turnover so half the size of YU according to companies house

These guys are a pure gas play and heavily into gas shipping and wholesale gas but one part of the business is gas supply to 46,000 SMEs

Hmmm that would be a nice bolt on if the price was right for the customer book and the contracts are hedged.

Just having a discussion on ADVFN about YU and back to back contract hedging

Do. To be surprised if YU make a massive gain due to the energy prices

As YU back to back hedge the risks to YU are zero on a rising energy price as each contract is locked in at the prevailing price but you can have 2 situations

1. Energy estimate for the hedge is under estimated this means YU will have to top up at the prevailing spot price unless they can spread across the portfolio.

2. The flip side is if YU over hedge and have spare energy like during C19 which they had to sell back at a loss. If this happens again YU gain massively

Would be nice for the market to acknowledge the true value of YU group.

I follow a lot of stocks (about 40) and YU is by far the stand out on a valuation front we are not even valued on current fundamentals never mind future potential.

Markets are meant to be forward looking £39M MC is no where near current value never mind in 2022
