Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Just here to offer some friendly support to Amit, aren't you? 😉 Cool as a cucumber is Helx2, after all, I think we need a balanced debate here, otherwise you would get the impression Amit was straight up with everything he communicates. Talking of 'writing in here the same things again and again', isn't that what Amit does constantly with those updates.
I'll post as I like, just like you and others who seem to see no wrongdoing whatsoever where Amit is concerned, even after multiple promises, all of which have led to nothing as we speak. If there's another update which confirms more delays, then I (and other shareholders) have a right to question why? Emailing them directly have yielded no replies, not once. Just like you (and Whispering) don't like anyone saying anything to the contrary here!
"Used to be giant periods between any sort of update - why do you think that's changed when he could just have stayed silent indefinitely?"
Because he is aiming to justify the missed deadlines he set and the lack of any (verifed) communication to any brokers (strange at this stage) or shareholders with those golden certificates. You keep saying nothing to lose and everything to gain, but if there is nothing at the end of all this, then why did he clearly lie over multiple years, and what for, and who? I'd rather have forgot about it (which I had) and not had him rub salt in the wounds with this ongoing carrot dangling he started over 2.5 years ago now.
How many more delay tactics and excuses can he put out? Anymore and you have got to think it's complete BS.
(Presumably you meant) post ‘..not contacted or not paid anyone..’
Yes, not contacted!!!!
There have been a good few disruptors on this board over time. HairyGrotBox springs to mind, all came on here, supporting Amit, and perhaps trying to distract from the issue at hand. The issue at hand now, if I am not mistaken, is contacting shareholders/brokers and subsequently paying shareholders once these additional (additional) anomalies are ironed out. Perhaps that can be finally done, if not, then the (strong) argument remains, why, after all this time, has Amit/The Company/Paying agents contacted or paid anyone? It's all they have to do, after all, they have the funds, don't they?
How does one define 'good news'? There's been a lot of what one would call 'good news' – perhaps too much – update after update, the problem is the 'good news' hasn't quite made it to the final news bulletin. How can you trash what's not happened?
"In a past update it was mentioned the DaaP ‘deal’ (whatever this means exactly?) was in escrow, and an announcement would ‘swiftly’ follow the licensing agreement payment"
Dictionary definition:
Swiftly: quickly or immediately.
It's clearly a different definition in Cloudtag's case!
There's a fact, and it's a simple one Jayne. If no one is (verified) as being paid, at any point now or in the next 6 months, then all these supposed updates are clearly irrelevant, and the Amit supporters can defend him as much as they like, but the simple fact is payment (and contact to shareholders) has been promised (many times now), but as yet, it hasn't materialised, why?
"Of course shareholders should get a detailed explanation, but you should ask yourself why is this never forthcoming."
Because there's a top-secret NDA don't forget. The thing he has hidden behind since this charade started!
"The most vocal and anxious appear to be the ones who claim to have no position!"
Do they? I think there are a fair few with shares that simply want paying, as promised for a good while!
Whispering, I am not going to argue with you. I have my views, you have yours. The simple (and it is) fact at this stage is paying people as promised, multiple times, which has not occurred. I have stated before, that if he / the company / the paying agent/s pays someone, then it will address the issue, until then, I believe the updates have not been accurate, they have been and continue to be misleading.
A question for you...
If you have not received any funds as prmised in say another 8 weeks time, what will be your view?
Whispering, if Amit Ben Haim or 'the company / paying agents' pays anyone eventually (including myself) in the next month (as promised), I will retract anything I have said on this forum and say I was wrong. I somehow feel I won't have to do that because, on the balance of probability, he won't based on the last 12 months promises.
Whispering, in my own words. He has lied multiple times in the past. He stated payment dates in updates which have come and gone, mentioned employees that never existed, talked about a 50 million deposit in a named bank that has now been retracted, and made sales claims when Cloudtag was listed on AIM, which turned out to be untrue. How can you call these 'progressive' updates when there is no verifiable progress? The fact that no one has been paid suggests to me that there has been no progress, wouldn't you agree? If there are more updates pushing payment dates again with more excuses, then we have to ask the question, why?
"Amit's comment about online misinformation did amuse me especially as he's lied constantly for the last 8 years all of which has been proved true, I'm looking forward to the next one."
If Amit is not wise enough to realise people won't just drift away, and to keep telling people they WILL be paid imminently and subsequently not paying them just confirms what a great many think, it's lies in the first instance. Too many rehashed updates, many of which are simply implausible at this late stage – I am being kind!
"The updates have been progressive (some what). The agents now have monies… they’re no longer in escrow"
There shouldn't be any further 'anomalies' in paying anyone now then!
"Ahh, so now you’re putting forward a suggestion that Amit may have lead shareholders on, with lies?"
Led, not lead!
I don't appear to be any nearer a payment, do you? If he hasn't paid anyone in the next month, then one can only deduce they're lies. Wouldn't that be a logical conclusion given the ongoing timescales and rehashing of already communicated information? It would be quicker to do an IPO on the Nasdaq than this protracted charade.
"a payout in pretty much imminent"
It was imminent over one year ago! How difficult is it unless there are no funds to pay it? Speaking as a shareholder!
The fact remains, how long can you string along investors saying:
“The Paying Agent is now in receipt of the licensing funds. Those Shareholders holding paper certificates issued by the Company shall be notified accordingly.”
or
“The Paying Agent is continuing its work to resolve some final remaining anomalies with the share capital book, which it expects to do in a timely manner, before it commences all notifications including to brokers.”
or
“It has come to our attention that the notifications intended for shareholders have not been issued as planned, due to guidance received from the paying agent.”
or
“The paying agent processing the payment transactions are experiencing difficulties reconciling the number of shares in issue due to miscalculation from a UK broker.”
He won't dispel any doubt from above whilst all that is provided is words, not payment!
"Which would perhaps then suggest there are serious irregularities with the share capital book?"
There must be if it's taking this long to sort out any payments!
30th March 2023
"The Company would like to advise that the funds for the licensing agreement have been successfully deposited in an escrow account. The proceeds of both transactions shall be distributed simultaneously upon announcement."
Over a year!
