Boo's main strengths:
1) A strong stable of brands
I don't think you can really say this when youth brands revenue is falling at 17 to 21 percent annually, and has actually accelerated. Plus look at what they have done to nastygal - absolutely dead.
2) Marketplace at Debs - this has the potential to be huge
Debenahams peak revenue was once 2.3 billion - that with online and stores in a less competitive market, even if they could build it to that same level of gmv now we would only see 800 million of that on our balance sheet.
3) Optionality with bricks and mortar licensing
Asos has more opportunity to do this, for all the talk management here have done regarding this angle, they have achieved zero.
4) Stronger balance sheet
I don't believe boohoo is in a stronger position at all, boohoo is getting worse daily.
