Judging by the snap decision to reinvent plt you would have to assume numbers were getting even worse.

Boohoo need to prove themselves and time is running out.

Expectations being beat...

Significant improvement in profitability...

Solid own brand numbers...

Broker upgrades....

Flagship store opening...

Loads pf positive news flow....

All for the same mcap as boohoo but over double the revenue..... I bet the asos gmv numbers are huge!.

They did reiterate back in Jan - if that had changed I'm assuming they would have been duty bound to state in todays rns.

Hexam I don't believe the sector is broken, I do believe the boohoo business model was broken though.

Management did nothing to hedge the company's bets until debenhams came along, we were just a dozen brands with nothing else. (THEY CERTAINLY INSULATED THEMSELVES HOWEVER)

Asos on the other hand is the Debenhams model but with 20 years more experience in being an online market place. I think they have just had their rolls royce moment and things will now be on the up business wise. Their recovery will take a lot longer than rr though.

Plt was a horrendous longterm investment, valued at a billion quid when they bought the remainder.

My guess is revenue continued off a cliff, hence the complete uturn of "leaving fast fashion behind"....

Plt literally shut the door on all their customers and then opened a new door, the question is how many have they opened the door to and how fast will they buy?

If plt went on the market today I don't believe it would be worth more than 100 million this current form.

I've a question on gmv -

If gmv growa by 33 percent and revenue only grows by 10 percent what doea that tell us?
