Fraser specifically said desperate people do desperate things - I can't work out just yet if this is desperate or bold without knowing the current numbers (I suspect it's desperation though).

The irony for me is at last years agm I sat in front of this circus act and asked why they hadn't inflated their prices along with all the other retailers such as primark and next etc, they gave some long winded waffle response.... Looks like they missed the opportunity to start inflating prices and margin around 24 months ago.

Then finally they try and inflate the prices in one swoop with a rebrand or desperation act....

Something tells me revenue for the year just finished is going to be below the 1.24 expected - I think we may see it as low as 1.1 billion or less. Which is likely to make the losses even bigger.

Does this total rebrand give anyone else the feeling that sales were going off a cliff still for plt?

Is this rebrand going to be used as an excuse for the poor performance while also promising more jam tomorrow?

If you owned a business that had peak revenue of over 700 million, then over the space of 2 years revenue dropped to 500 million surely the business just needs tweaking to some degree (first tweak being a major staff cull not just a superficial cut)

Say at the point revenue hit 500 million you hired an advisor and his advice was to completely change the business model.. Would you do it? I certainly wouldn't.

Volt - honestly I don't think shorts need bs articles to help them right now.... They have the board doing every they need to drive this down.

Happy - there is no persona, my outlook matches the ever decreasing revenues and ever growing losses.

And my view of the management has changed with their complete and utter failure disconnect with reality over the last 2 years.

3 years ago the opportunity here was absolutely massive, with a competent board of directors we could have been back doing 2 billion revenue or more by now.

3 years ago a lot of the negativity was pretty much based on nothing, but over the 3 years the management and performance have aligned with the "trolls" outlook. It could have quite easily gone the other way.

The one single thing that has grown in the last 3 years is the losses, and they are still growing now with the year just finished expected to be 200 million quid.

My holding here hasn't changed - despite having a very large position I simply wont ignore the reality of the continually worsening results, and continually worsening and embarrassing behaviour of the board - they are truly shameful.

We are all stuck here hoping for a miracle recovery, those of us that can be honest anyway.

For over 8 months I had direct contact with Mahmud, messages and phone calls, with him calling me daily in the lead up to the agm vote, I blocked his number in the end because what I was hearing simply didn't match reality. I also voted against his appointment as I believed nothing would change if he won - how right I was?

I also had Morana emailing me to book an appointment for a phone call - yet he won't even buy a share?!

Some people really need to wake up and smell the coffee.

If by some miracle this does turn around and results improve I will be the first to post about it!

Rather than looking the complete tanking of boohoo Group web visits for the last 2 months-some of them down 40 percent in 8 weeks - where does that leave revenue right now?

Debenhams simply cannot be growing with a 30 percent drop in web traffic in one month - seems its blown it's load.

Asos has 47 million visits.....

I've not added up the whole group for visits of the boohoo group but i best its less than half of Asos

Dont forget that debenhams visits need to be divided by 10, keeping in mind that those 11 million visits to debenhams give us less than 10 percent revenue for the total gmv.

Anyway the only comparable from company to company is the monthly drop, asos for the last 2 months is significantly less than the boohoo group, certainly sounds right considering their guidance and the reiterating the guidance recently.

I'll let the expert give you the low down.... And it is low..... Diabolical in fact group wide when added together.

Mt - I have far more money in here than asos so it's in my interest for this to succeed.

That said this was a much better investment opportunity 2 years ago, however 2 years of complete and utter balls ups have nearly took this to failure.

50/50 chance of complete failure

80 percent chance of mass dilution

20 percent chance this gets back to 100p with no dilution.

As for Asos just go and look at their reiterated guidance,then compare with boohoo which doesn't even state revenue, just gmv which is pointless.

Mt11 - what is asos guiding for this current financial year? And correct me if I'm wrong but asos is over double the size of the boohoo group so they must be doing ok? Also they have paid down debt, moth balled distribution sites and sold a large chunk of topshop (topshop made up 5 percent of their revenue and they sold for approx 130 million I believe - at least know what you are talking about before posting.
