With the seriously high probability of an major dilution, it would probably be a wise decision to offload, await the deal to be announced, decided if its investable then re enter.

That's what I have done and my holding was much more than the op's.

Yup, package hols are fully atol protected.

Over the last 8 years I've built up my own hols, seperate fights, seperate hotel, the price is great....then after adding luggage, separate transfer, the price has always been more expensive than package.

When I match it up with a main tour operator, tui, TC, etc... it's always worked out much cheaper and as soon its booked, that it. Everything is in place.

However, I know the area we are wanting to go, we keep an eye on the tour operators prices, approx 8 weeks before our Hol dates, we keep an eye on the prices....if you can go on a week day and not overly fussed about flying early morning, and evening is ok, you get massive price reductions.

That doesn't suit everyone but it does us. So package all the way. All done online though.

While it’s impossible for me to fully appreciate your position, I can only echo Peter’s statement in the announcement that “this is not the outcome any of us wanted for our shareholders”.



With regards to the strategic review, having assessed all of the bids received, the anticipated disposal proceeds fell short of what the Board considered fair value for the businesses, and none of the offers would have meaningfully addressed the capital structure and financial flexibility of the Group. The Board concluded that only a proposed recapitalisation of the balance sheet, supported by an anchor investor in the business, would sufficiently address our high levels of leverage.



The announcement made on Friday was made following this decision by the Board, and included all of the details that we were able to provide at the time. Obviously, we recognise this has created a lot of questions, but these can only be fully answered as we have start to have discussions with various stakeholders over the coming days and weeks. A further update will be provided in due course.
