Agreed FX, regardless of the detail or where Kaldine Media originate from, its a pretty odd comparison spend such time and effort filming someone talking about. Its almost as if there is some other reasoning behind it.

Having an office in the city on St. Mary Axe since 2019 helps if you are an equity research company with a media platform.

Looks like its instigated by Walbrook, they have connections with Kalkine who regularly provide coverage of Walbrook clients, rather than some thinking its a leak down under.

Agree FX, there is a disparity between the potential value of NFX and the current value.
As has been mentioned before, the boardroom shenanigans over the past 2 years have done a lot of damage, and the current vacuum for CEO when Anne leaves doesn't help.

The problem was that the money spent on NXP001 was then not reimbursed as planned, so delayed further work on NXP002.

At the RTO the valuation of NFX was for about £18m, with the proceeds from the associated placing being for the human PK testing of NXP002.

Was probably valued higher as it was seen as further along the road than it is now.

The logical question following this is ‘what is the difference between then and now?’

The previous testing was on dry powder formulation, which is your classic inhaler method, the sort you see for typical asthma.

The latest formulation is for testing with nebulisers, which get more of the medication into the lungs.

Research has shown that nebulisers provide better quality of life to patients over the long run, particularly in COPD.

Kane, yes they did test on dry powder formulation of NXP002 which it the one referred to in your post.

The result of which were as below from the company listing prospectus. (Page 55)

“Lastly, in in-Vivo inhalation studies performed by Nuformix, a dry powder formulation of the NXP002 cocrystal was found to dramatically increase the uptake of the drug versus and identical formulation of the pure drug form, which was virtually unabsorbed”

SSM, every company and broker has leaks, it’s human nature to want to tell others. That’s exactly what markets have been built on for centuries.

The key take out from today for NFX is that it’s research into Nxp004 has been successful. It hasn’t had instant impact as it’s not got a £ sign attached to it, but it’s the start of the story for this new line.

Most likely from the brokers rather than the company.
