SSM, just look at Monday’s trades before Riddells announcement, that tells you there was a leak. 15% rise in the middle of the day. How often does NFX do that?

This is just the start for NXP004. The RNS confirms the results were good, but it'll be quiet whilst they work behind the scenes.

It also shows what I posted the other day, they will have data back also for NXP002 and will be working on that before announcing to the market.

True, but there will always be some level of selling, seems today that this is holding it back a bit. Compare this with last weeks rise, where there were less sells.

FX, if your doing something that sits in someone else’s billion selling back yard, you have to be cautious about what you say so as not to put it in any risk.

Bunsen this patent application is generated by the results data for NXP004, so there isn’t a delay. They can’t say too much in public as the priority is to protect the application and not risk it being turned down.

Great news on NXP004, filing a patent that opens it up into a billion selling market!

So, a bit of a brain dump to recap where things are at right now.

NXP004 - commenced latest preclinical in May 2021, results due back Q4 2021. So in theory anytime now given it’s been 6 months.

NXP002- commenced latest preclinical May / June 2021 after sourcing manufacture of new samples.
Undergoing formulation, invitro and invivo testing.
Results due back Q4 2021 - due anytime but needs compiling into a package.

NXP001 - global license signed with Oxilio who are looking to undertake Phase 1 clinical in Q1 2022, meaning milestone payment to NFX.

Also in half year interims are end of December the licence signing payment to NfX should appear in the revenues.

I’d rather Anne was still in place when data is received. It doesn’t come back ‘ready for consumption’, so to speak. The company needs to interrogate it and decide how it’s best used. Anne is the only person in The company with experience in the inhaled drug field. So I’d rather it’s not left till after she goes.
Hence I believe, data is likely to be currently with the company, allowing Riddell to announce his role change with certainty as to timings.

Totally agree SSM, it was just a response to Olders query about why I thought they might have scope to move her leaving date forward.

As long as the data is returned, processed and packaged then it’s ok.

Sorry should have also mentioned, on the below... I would be amazed if Anne (being the professional she is) didn't tell the board before the RNS. That would be quite something. So yes it was a surprise to Riddell, but it was a surprise to him before it became a surprise to us.

Its in the past FX, but wouldn't surprise me if the have now negotiated her to finish earlier than end of January once results are received and processed.

FX, watch Riddells interview, he says Anne gave him her resignation letter on Wednesday night. This must have been the week before as the RNS was on a Wednesday morning (21st July)

My thoughts are that, firstly we know he had to become Exec at some point in time prior to Anne leaving. When she resigned it is likely that they agreed she would stay until results are received and processed, this is key given it’s her strongpoint.

So once they know when this is likely to be, then it makes sense to start the process of Riddell moving across to Exec. then Brindley can begin her exit.

Personally, I think she tried to leave with immediate effect but was ‘persuaded’ to stay on. This is bourne out by the fact Riddell knew about her resignation for a week before it was announced.

I’d like to think that prior to Anne’s departure she will be collating all of the NXP002 data from the inhaler feasibility, in-Vivo and in-vitro testing into a single package. She is the only person with inhaler drug experience.

If Riddell’s move to Exec Chairman on 1 December is a signal that she is finishing then, we must surely be getting something prior on around then.

NXP004 could probably be dealt with by Julian Gilbert as he has Oncology experience. So could be after Anne’s departure.

We know that 004 and 002 are being tested by different CRO's for completely different indications / diseases. So data will come back at different times.
