Its absolutely not a good thing for me. If communication from investor relations clearly states 10th November (at the absolute latest) then we should know by then. Not the following Friday. Extremely poor.

I emailed yesterday but no reply. Unprofessional and misleading for shareholders.

Cannot believe that we still don't have an RNS. I quote, TLW investor relations - ''the absolute latest we expect to receive the funds is 10th November'' but we are ''hopeful of much sooner than that''. Totally misleading and has now cost me on investments elsewhere.

This is just painful and I still can’t get over the ‘in the coming days’ RNS. So frustrating and have missed a couple of other opportunities due to loading up more here. My choice and my fault but certainly a misleading RNS message. I don’t think anyone would have believed that we would be waiting until almost the last possible second to confirm that the funds have arrived....

Yes, agree. If anyone thinks its not positive for sentiment toward TLW and will not put the company in a stronger position when the money ACTUALLY lands then they need to review their understanding of the market. TLW had a share price almost twice this current level back in the summer without the money. Don't expect a leap to that level yet but mid twenties is certainly possible.

Seriously, whoever rote that first RNS stating payment in ‘the coming days’ needs sacking. 2 1/2 weeks later is not ‘the coming days’. They could have said within the month or by 10th November. Don’t blame Total for holding onto their cash for as long as possible but the TLW RNS was misleading.

No, the 140m is separate from the provision they have set aside for claims - though some of the 140m may now need to be set aside for the additional claims provision.

Yep, sure did. Amazing price this morning. Will trickle along at current level or slightly higher until news. The bad news is done now and the drop this morning was an overreaction to news that we had a fair idea about already. The only slight surprise was the delay to re-lending but happy to just hold and wait now. Gary will get this right I’m sure and this has incredible potential from here.

Thanks @Seamus. Yes, I suspect you are right regarding the FCA and additional steps required for alternative revenue streams. Lets hope we can navigate through the current issues as there is so much room for Amigo to grow in the current market.

Cool, thanks @Seamus. Glad it’s not just me thinking that then. With that being the case, there is significantly less risk with this share. Simply bring out a new product line to cover the cost of any fine increases..... not that I think the provision isn’t enough at present, as I suspect it is, but we would have the option of other product offerings to support Amigo should things turn for the worse regarding complaints. Excellent : )

Just a question. Given the fact that banks are reducing lending, why does amigo not simply adapt their business model to offer more mainstream loans at a slightly higher rate (to account for the current market risk) but with tighter lending criteria to the guarantor loans. Is there a reason why they can’t do this with FCA/FOS are targeting primarily guarantor loans?

Yeah, I know @Nickel : ) I would be surprised if its left until the last day or two to pay (Mon/Tues next week) but you never know. They have now had a decent amount of time since the announcement so literally anytime. Early this week would be lovely - might get to slice and go after some other bargains if that happens : )

Well, we finished Friday a smidge over 20p and we are now at 19.6p which isn't much worse than a typical Monday morning. Add to that a national lock down and oil price drop and I would says its pretty solid. Happy with this start to the day and only going upwards from here I think.
