What I meant to add was that whilst QC have not specifically mentioned us by name as being a key part of their Snapdragon Ride Flex solution ( they refer to ADAS being via a pre integrated supplier) our relationship with them together with the other new ones announced just has to strengthen our chances of winning more pipeline contracts.
If I’m honest, I initially felt somewhat disappointed this week that whilst we have announced 4 new collaborations at CES23, there has been nothing by way of new contracts with real $$ values attached. We know that will be the ultimate proof of our success and what is holding back the SP. But I have to say as I read more and more about our new relationships and those others are creating like Qualcomm, this is the reality of the emerging market we are in and demonstrates some really smart planning by SEE who are creating a deeper and wider moat around our IP to guarantee future success. It’s a bit like putting a chip down on every number on a roulette table. And the fact that no major contracts have been announced by anyone ( discount the few small recent SEYE ones) might be proving that the OEMs are late to the party and will be looking for as flexible and cost effective a solution as possible which is what these collaborations are created for. We are creating as much chance of success as possible which is what seems to be confirmed by the QC announcements attached.
As CES comes to a close I think we have a lot to get excited about!

Watch this - it has to be SEE tech !

Shame QC doesn’t name us specifically in their Snapdragon Ride Suite presentation - reference on slide 1 under ‘driver monitoring’ is to ‘pre integrated partner’ which I’m assuming is SEE. Let’s hope it’s going to earn us considerable $$$$$ as it gets rolled out!

Lewbo - thanks for that too and makes sense - same comment though - with their growing pipeline you’de have to assume some business was coming our way especially with 2024 in our sights - so why so few contracts - 2023 has to be the year of its ever going to come!
Lost- thanks and that would probably be my guess too - I’ve just been back and read all the recent articles Colin Barnden and Safestocks have written about the partnership and they’ve fuelled so many take over rumours it’s inconceivable they have ended or allowed to lapse our relationship but I am still scratching my head as to why no contracts announced over 2 years!!
This is really going to sound like a dumb comment but are we all still of the opinion that SEE and Qualcomm are joined at the hip. A year or so ago with huge fanfare we announced jointly the collaboration with QC and have on numerous occasions seen our logo on their slides as part of Snapdragon Ride etc. Despite this not one RNS indicating a new contract via QC and now after having scoured all their presentations today I can find no mention of SEE on any of their slides - only new collaborations with a host of new partners. Have I missed or am I missing something - is it possible they have dropped us or are we just so embedded in their solution it’s a given - thoughts please!
Another which doesn’t appear to yet be RNSed

WILMINGTON, Mass. and CANBERRA, Australia, Jan. 3, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Analog Devices, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADI), a global semiconductor leader, and Seeing Machines (LSE:SEE), an advanced computer vision technology company that designs AI-powered operator monitoring systems to improve transport safety, announced a collaboration in support of high-performance driver and occupant monitoring system (DMS/OMS) technology.
ADI and Seeing Machines accelerate safer driving with sophisticated ADAS.
Long-haul driving and congested traffic are two scenarios where driver fatigue and distraction often occur and frequently cause accidents, resulting in injury or worse. New and sophisticated advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are rapidly evolving to support safety across increasing, varied levels of autonomous capability.
The collaboration pairs ADI's advanced infrared driver and high-speed Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link™ (GMSL) camera connectivity solutions with Seeing Machines' artificial intelligence (AI) DMS and OMS software to support powerful eye gaze, eyelid, head, and body-pose tracking system technology that more accurately monitors driver fatigue and distraction. The combined solution will readily meet European Commission General Safety Regulations (GSR) and European New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP) requirements. It is also conducive to enabling future occupant monitoring features and a range of in-cabin camera placement options, previously unworkable due to challenges related to power efficiency, functional safety, hardware footprint, and image quality.
Semi-autonomous driving systems rely on in-cabin DMS and OMS to recognize and address driver fatigue and distraction. These systems must operate in all lighting conditions and require proper infrared lighting to ensure image quality on a frame-by-frame basis necessary for eye tracking in real time. The combined solution from ADI and Seeing Machines leverages ADI's industry-first infrared driver for DMS and OMS, capable of delivering up to 100W of peak power in a compact and functionally safe solution. This allows for a non-intrusive, smaller camera module in a vehicle's cabin.
Seeing Machines' AI software interprets signals from the optical hardware, monitors and diagnoses the problem, and combines with ADAS features to enable output signals to warn drivers and vehicle occupants when necessary.
"Seeing Machines exists to get people home safely, and our work with ADI aims to support semi-autonomous driving with increased safety levels to deliver what we call 'supervised automation'," said Nick DiFiore, SVP and GM of Automotive at Seeing Machines. "ADI's proven automotive-grade, near-infrared drivers and GMSL devices enable a sophisticated optical path to provide critical illumination and high-speed video bandwidth for real-world and real-time processing of interior cabin environments."

Seize - not sure their original intention was to work together as Qualcomm didn’t see the piece of Veoneer business SSW took of them as strategic to their future plans. It may well be though that with SEE working closely with both QC and Magna we can add the magic ingredient to adding value to both parties

Despite no DMS/ OMS offering doesn’t look like Mobileye are disappearing anytime soon !!
OF -I really am sceptical - so when we finally issue that long awaited RNS that confirms a big contract and the price is marked up initially to say 7.5 or 8p are you saying that the MMs have no manual intervention and it’s all automatically done by SETS - I just don’t believe that.
