Announcement that Mobileye will ship 46 million new assisted driver chips over next few years and still we wait for an RNS for any new volumes !!!!

Interesting but perhaps not surprising decision by Mobileye. It’s clear that with the requirement for camera based solutions required in all new vehicles including commercial,by 2026 we can envisage the bulk of Gen3 being fitted either during or straight after production. With 20m new commercial vehicles being manufactured every year in truth our 50000 vehicles is minuscule and like Mobileye a shift in resourcing to point of manufacture will reap far greater returns than we are getting now.

I’m assuming this is our already won contract with VW given production is starting sometime this year. I watched the Proactive interview with PMG and whilst he’s confidant our royalties will double year on year based on the increased production volumes coming through he only ever mentions existing contacts. Why do the interviewers never grill him on the previously disclosed pipeline and why we don’t appear or are unable to announce new contracts. At the rate of growth i’d expect for a company like this we shouldn’t just be doubling revenues year on year but tripling them as we win new contracts !
Interesting legal case about to unfold - disgruntled shareholders smelling some potential compensation!
CLASS PERIOD: January 16, 2023 to January 3, 2024
ALLEGATIONS: The complaint alleges that during the class period, Defendants issued materially false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (1) to avoid the shortages experienced amid supply chain constraints in 2021 and 2022, the Company's Tier 1 customers had purchased inventory in excess of demand during fiscal 2023; (2) as a result, the Company's customers had excess inventory on hand, including approximately 6-7 million units of EyeQ SoCs; (3) due to the build-up of inventory, there was a significant risk that the Tier 1 customers would buy less product, thus adversely impacting the Company's fiscal 2024 financial results; and (4) as a result of the foregoing, defendant's positive statements about the Company's business, operations, and prospects were materially misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis.
DEADLINE: March 18, 2024 Shareholders should not delay in registering for this class action. Register your information here: https://securitiesclasslaw.com/securities/mobileye-global-loss-submission-form/?id=65530&from=4
Some may shoot this down with ‘we need to wait now for the contracts to get signed ‘(which we absolutely do) but can’t help feeling disappointed that with all the incredible innovations/ collaborations/ integration etc going on none of the major players SPs - SEE, SEYE, MBLY, QCOM, MGA have done anything this week as compared to last year when we ourselves jumped 20% after 3 very positive RNS’s in January. Just saying ..

Don’t think there’s any question that things are hotting up in this arena and although we eagerly await news of new collaborations and contracts, it’s clear Mr Market is only going to reward us all by way of SP appreciation on reported KPI’s/ results that meet or exceed expectations. Too many rumours, rounds of speculation and missed promises that might work in favour of other shares but I’m afraid not here. Not an issue here if everything falls into place and continued patience required !!
very positive outlook from pmg - as we’ve come to expect. most interesting comment for me was when he was describing new gen3 launch where he says this was built off the experience of having 60000 connected units already - is that the dec number we’re going to see in the quarterly stats up from 54000?

Unfortunately we’ve been looking at our DMS/ OMS market and assuming it’s only getting divid up between ourselves , SEYE and Cipia. Been clear to me for ages that Mobileye are still the main player in this space - who do we think they’ve been selling $2bn worth of sales to this year. Seeing 2030 is right in that they’ve ben developing their own DMS but more relevant is that OEMs are still taking product that meets 2024 criteria. Maybe this is the reason we are still
waiting for contract news and our what should have been a $2bn pipeline of RFPs . That all said we know SEE have been at the forefront of driving innovation and using this to influence legislative changes so perhaps this will work in our favour over the next 12 months as contracts are finally inked - let’s bloomin well hope so !!
Going to be an interesting CES given there appear to be numerous new entrants to the DMS/ OMS space. Unclear how commercialised these are but they are demonstrating their wares so assume they are marketing launch ready solutions to OEMs/ Tier 1s etc.
It wasn’t too long ago SEE were in pole position in the OMS space but we forget that it’s almost 2 years now since we announced our $1bn pipeline that hasn’t translated into firm contracts. Having said that our researchers have sat idle so no doubt lots to show to the world too. Let’s hope the reality is that we are still leading the pack with new collaborations and contacts announced over the next few days

Well here’s one we didn’t see coming although in our own small way we’ve been clearing through our own Gen2 inventory and hence why there may have been or still be a delay launching Gen3 - 28% drop in Mobileye stock today !!!
