Hi Paul excellent post on VOD the 9.33 one....anyway asked the same question last year and got this reply from RJ the engineer...."BP and Total have both got involved with the Round 4 auction in the UK already, these projects will be above 1GW easily. UKW currently has an installed capacity of about 1.2GW made up of many little projects, can't imagine it would be to an oil giants taste to get involved with that".......Good thinking on his behalf so hopefully answers your question.......

Hi Rob...just a follow on from my last post....you may want to have a look at IUKD and GLO i hold both don't go on my recommendation but both pay a good dividend and quarterly ....one is an etf the other an energy stock well have a look not sure what your looking for whether growth or an income....

Yeah agree fortunately we don't live in the Ukraine so a i don't think a loose bomb is going to affect us.....as for the merger i was only hoping of news so unless your on the BOD and know something i don't do one...

Agree with you Paul.....have held this for a few years now a good solid dividend with a high growth outlook....the wind blows what's not to like.....

Same as you only i didn't put as much as you in....my average is 19p i 've kept hold of it to remind me not to be so stupid in the future....only buy stock with a good solid background ...lgen lloyds gsk etc

yes maybe hold out for a higher bid then pay off dept as it is very high.....
